Damn what's up with the negative comments. I agree that it took a dip somewhere around 30ish episode but it's…
Honestly the show is pretty balanced. If you look deeper into the characters’ actions and the drama, there’s a lot more meaning there. Watching it at surface level won’t make you understand everything. Seeing all the negative comments popping up now is kind of funny.
Wow, calling it AI? This is 100% my own opinion, based on me watching the drama. Feel free to disagree, but don’t disrespect or undermine my analytical skills. If you genuinely think you can do better, go ahead and write your own review—I’d actually like to read it, since you seem confident.
I am a firm believer of criticizing a drama if you see fit. But this whole "the show promotes 2nd couple on…
To be honest, I do agree with you to some extent that the drama sometimes gave more “romantic-type” moments to the second couple. Because of that, I sometimes just ignored their scenes and focused more on the main couple instead. My attention was always on them rather than the second couple. I personally think the main couple has stronger visuals and chemistry, but I’m not saying that to hate on the second couple. From what I’ve seen on RedNote and Weibo, most of the edits are still about the main couple — their popularity was a lot higher even before the drama aired. Also, for me the main couple’s moments meant more than just romance. Their actions, body language, and emotional buildup carried a lot of meaning. Especially their scene in episode 38 — honestly, that topped everything for me.
please can some one tell me in short how wei yan the uncle is the culprit
the tragedy begins with the late emperor’s secret political scheme during the battle of Jizahou: he ordered Lord Changxin not to send reinforcements and to claim the tiger tally was fake even though it was real, which led to the deaths connected to Wei Qilin and Xie Zheng’s father. Wei Yan already knew about this plan but did nothing to stop it, allowing the blame to be placed on Wei Qilin while the real truth stayed hidden. At the same time, Wei Yan had a secret affair with Consort Shu, who became pregnant, creating a scandal that could destroy them both. Eventually Wei Yan turned against the emperor and killed him in the capital, partly because of the emperor’s manipulation and partly to protect their secret; when a fire broke out in the palace he tried to save Consort Shu, but she chose to die in the flames to protect Wei Yan and keep their relationship and pregnancy from being exposed, turning the whole conspiracy into a tragic chain of sacrifice, guilt, and political intrigue.
I am already done but before that, can someone explain to me below (put spoilers) the whole story of the massacre…
