I must say that I enjoyed it, but I felt a little bit robbed
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.
So this series is the first Chinese BL omega series, and I didn't know what to expect. I must say that I was actually surprised. The way that these actors were able to portray these characters and bring them to life just amazed me. The duality that the actor Huang Xing did with his portrayal of Hua Young was amazing, as his character was first shown to us as an omega. But then his character shows his true colours as an enigma; a whole new personality is introduced to us. Qiu Ding Jie also played the role of Sheng well, as I enjoyed the relationship between Sheng and Hua throughout the series.
The second couple, Guao and Shen, stole the series and my heart. Am I disappointed with how things ended with them? Yes, yes, I am. But I am not mad, as I saw on Twitter that the way they ended it is basically the way that they end the book. This is one case where I wished the screenwriter actually went a different way from the book because Guao at least deserves his happy ending.
There were some scenes that I felt were not necessary. And then there were some scenes that I wished they had included/expanded on, but they didn't. I am grateful that we did get to see their kids, as I found the interaction between Peanut, their son, and Hua cute the way that they were fighting for the attention of Shen.
All in all, I am glad that I gave this a shot, as I did enjoy the series. I felt that the actors played their roles well and were able to bring the characters to life.

A series that kept me entertained
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. Okay, the reason I decided to give this series a watch was for the two main actors – "Pond" Ponlawit Ketprapakorn and "Peterpan" Tadsapon Wiwitawan. I saw some of their previous works, and I liked their acting skills, even if I may not have liked the series. And I must say – they did not disappoint.
This is a series where one of the main characters, Armin, goes back in time after a horrible incident that led to his death. And it's from here that we, the viewers, are entertained every week as we wait to see the outcome of this story. We are introduced to a variety of characters as Armin tries to go through his new life that he has been given, as well as working on his passion for acting.
While he navigates this new life, he meets Thada, and they develop a close relationship. Along the way, they encounter obstacles in the form of jealous co-actors (it was really nice seeing First Chalongrat Novsamrong here, as he played a different character than I am used to seeing him play) and jealous stepbrothers, just to name a few. I will also say that I was a little shocked on seeing Thiwthit's true feelings towards Thada, which led me to watch Thiwthit in a new way, but yet was still shocked at what happened in the end concerning him.
This series was well done, with the storyline flowing through it and keeping us viewers entertained, showing our emotions through happiness, anger and sadness (because these guys went through A LOT to get their happy ending).
P.S.- I love Secretary Veynai so much!

Just falls short from the prequel's score for me
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. I want to start off by saying I totally adored the predecessor of this (BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita: Crank Up Hen). So, when I saw that a second season was being done with this couple, I was ecstatic seeing them once more again. I will admit that it had the same formula that made the first season work – but yet, somehow, I honestly felt that it fell short and just did not live up to its predecessor.
Don't get me wrong – I still adore all of the characters. I just felt that this season was somehow not up to par as the first one. Maybe because we saw these shenanigans and cliches in the first season, and while it was cute then, it kind of fell flat here. And I personally think that's why I did not enjoy it as much as I did with the first season.

Cute, fluffy series about life and love
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. I have now been able to find the time to write a review for this series. I did complete this series on the 6th of July, 2025. And, what can I say? This series was cute as we got to know the love lives, friendships and lives of Shane, Kit, Kim, Mon, Tar and Per along with their teachers Tan and Nat. We are not only introduced to these guys falling in love but also with everyday life challenges that they face while navigating through their school/work and their love.
Is this series fluffy and gives you butterflies while watching them? You bet your bottom dollar it does. But it also gives you real-life situations that I honestly thought would have gone another way, but they didn't. Two examples are that Kim and Mon will be going to different colleges, and they will be trying a long-distance relationship with them. I honestly thought that one of them might give up their dream just for them to be together. Another one is that I actually thought that Shane would have been successful in getting the scholarship, but he was not, and while it took him some time, he applied himself to go to college in Thailand instead to carry out his new dream.
While the two main lead couples did steal the series, I also adored the relationship between Tar and Per as well as the teachers, Tan and Nat. Tar and Per seem to be at the tentative beginning of a relationship that can turn into lovers, and that's why it's so cute to me. Tan and Nat were also a cute couple that at times seemed to guide these youths in their young lives. All in all, it was truly a cute and fluffy series, which I knew it was going to be. What I didn't expect it to do was to also teach us along the way as it did. I truly recommend this series to anyone who wants to watch it.

Excellent series

Sometimes watching a series can leave you lost for words – sometimes that can be a good thing or a bad thing. In this case, it was a good thing. This series was able to keep my attention from beginning to end, a rare feat at times, as there were no skipped parts in any of the episodes, which is why I cannot find any faults in this series. It was so addictive that at times, I personally felt that the episodes were short due to how engrossed I was in watching the series. This series had everything – excellent plot, awesome acting and even comedic timing.
It was able to carry me through emotions, with me laughing at one moment and then getting very emotional at another time. I am glad that I decided to give this series a shot, as it did not disappoint me at all. I would totally recommend this series to anyone out there.

Story focuses on one of my pet peeves

This story can solely be said to come about due to a misunderstanding between the two men – Kim Min Jun and Jin Hwan. And I can say that I get the misunderstanding from when they were younger (22 years), but to have it still EIGHT YEARS LATER – yeah, that is going to annoy me. And before people ask – no, I did not check the tags out to know that misunderstanding was there.
This misunderstanding theme was predominant throughout the six episodes, as I guess it helped to prolong the storyline of the MC. I understand the need for it, but there were times I wanted to kick, if not one of them, both of them due to this little misunderstanding. While it is a quick watch, there were times I had to watch over certain parts, as I did lose interest in between episodes. But I will say this: after rewatching those parts, at the end of the six episodes, we the viewers were able to see that love and common sense were able to prevail, and that is truly all that we wanted.

It's definitely not what I expected
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and what I personally thought about this series. Some of you may not like it. This was supposed to be Park Jinyoung's last series when he enlisted in the military, but it was released after he fulfilled his mandatory enlistment. And well, it was not what I was expecting it to be. I will say that after watching the first four episodes, I did lose some interest in this series. However, episodes 5 onwards drew me back in and carried me on an unexpected journey.
We must call a spade a spade—yes, Park Jinyoung's character is a stalker/has stalker-like qualities. We are explained that he wants to find a way for the FL-Park Mi Jeong—to live a normal life and to not live the life as 'the witch', as she has lived a cruel life in her younger years. He does collect data and analyze all the factors that surround her to get the end result. The series was able to keep my attention, as I wanted to know what the end result would have been.
While he collected data on the FL, he has also collected data on his best friend, as he too is 'a witch' (this was a shock to me as leading up to this, I wanted to know what was the purpose of his friend throughout the series). I will say what threw me off a bit was the 'romance' between the SL. I felt that came out of nowhere, but maybe that was just me.
This series was indeed an interesting watch, with some qualities that we may not like about the ML. But it was still able to keep my attention, as I did want to know if the ML would have succeeded in his case study about the FL.

He was given the opportunity for love twice and did not hold onto it
Okay, first off, this is not BL. As you can see from one of the tags, it's a gay romance. Do I wish that it was a happy gay romance? Of course I do! But, just like real life, we get a few frogs along the way until we can actually get to our happily ever after—and this is what this series is doing. There were times I wanted to slap the character Ko Yeong. From watching this series, I believe that he was in two out of the four relationships where his significant others actually loved him. He unfortunately was too immature for the first one, and I guess he wanted Sim Gyu Ho to live his life for himself and achieve all that he could because he was contemplating giving up an opportunity to remain with Ko Yeong. But I honestly believe that he felt something deep for him, as it seems he's the only one he ever told about Kylie, as he never told his best girlfriend and his three male friends.
With his second relationship with No Yeong Su, how did he actually think it was going to end after seeing his thesis on homosexuality? That guy, if he DID have feelings for him, was WAY deep in the closet and was not going to come out for him. With his life already being crappy at that time, it's understandable that he did what he did after their breakup, as he must have felt that he keeps being dealt a crappy hand in life. I honestly did not understand him and his fourth relationship, as I was more focused on the fact that he started this relationship a year after his breakup with Sim Gyu Ho and Habibi even took him to Thailand, where he and Sim Gyu Ho went on their first and only trip together. So, it kind of seemed doomed from the start to me, as he seemed to be thinking about his experience with his recent ex-boyfriend. And the ending is an open ending, knowing that Sim Gyu Ho is back in South Korea for a short time, which is painful for us viewers as Ko Yoeng has still not found his HEA.
I must say that his interactions with Choi Mi Ae and his three friends were one of the highlights of this series, as I liked to see their interactions with Ko Yeong.
So, all in all, it was a good telling of a story of growing up and (hoping) to find love along the way. It's just his fault that he was too blind to see that the opportunity for love was given to him not once, but twice, and he let both chances slip away from him.

It had its moments.
This series is not perfect. It had its moments. This can be seen with Fourth and his role as Atom. I felt that he was close to giving the same energy that Michieda Shunsuke did as Aoki in the Japanese version. Him with the two supporting characters and their scenes together actually stole the series for me, specifically with Matmi as they were so cute together. And he also did an excellent job with his coming out scene to his mom that he even made me teary-eyed. Now, in all honesty, I did not feel that Gemini was a good Kongthap when I compare him to Meguro Ren as Ida. Something...just wasn't there for me in his character.I also felt like I was drowning with the introduction of so many supporting characters that at one point, I didn't care anymore. I just wasn't invested. The series also felt long and draggy that I actually identified two other episodes it could have ended at, and it would have still been a good series. But here we are at twelve episodes.
It was nice to get a longer storyline for Half and Matmi, because we are able to see more of them and the outcome of their relationship. I was super annoyed with the product placement, especially the contact lenses one. I don't know why; it just annoyed the heck out of me.
The music of course slaps and it was good seeing the Chinzhilla band in episode 11 from MSP. All in all, it was an okay series that unfortunately did not live up to the original Japanese version- BUT! It had its moments sprinkle here and there.

Can be a contender for my best BL for the year 2024!
When I saw the official trailer, I was intrigued and genuinely wonder how they were going to handle the story. And I must say that they did an excellent job. For these five past weeks, i eagerly await and watch the two episodes per week, becoming more engrossed and wrapped with this story. And yes, there are some parts where I can see that can be cringy as well as the 'villains' were extremely week and at a point, I was already predicting the storyline to go a certain way (which it did with their little twist), it was still an enjoyable and emotional journey. This series got me in my feelings in the last two episodes and I can't say when last this has happened to me and that's why I see this series as a contender for my best BL for the year 2024!
What makes this series stand out for me, personally, is the love story between San and Vee. While they had their ups and downs, I felt that their relationship was portrayed beautifully. They loved and cared for each other that they would do anything for each other, even if it's their own lives. San and Vee went through a lot to get to the point they got to throughout the series. And I will most definitely recommend this series to others.

Finally! Another awesome BL!
When GMMTV announced their part 1 announcement for the year 2024, not gonna lie, only two series caught my attention. One was 'My Golden Blood' and the next one was 'Wandee Goodday.' They both seemed interesting, and I was excited to see these actors (Fluke from 'My Golden Blood' and Inn from 'Wandee Goodday') in a new series.I adore this series so much, as it had basically everything that i want from a BL. Good acting, good storyline, great OST, no dreaded eleventh episode, being able to solve an issue between them quickly were some of the things that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was also very informative in things in life that a lot of BL's don't really talk about. And yes, it started off steamy (with them being friends with benefits/ being in a fake boyfriend relationship) and ended up so sweet (with them actually being boyfriends) that you felt like you will go into a diabetic shock. But that's just how I like it!
I enjoyed waiting to watch this series over the twelve weeks that I know I am going to miss waiting to see any new episodes. Inn and Great did a terrific job and I do hope that they get the opportunity to star in more BL's together. That being said, I'm giving this series a 9.5- only because there were some side characters I couldn't stand and still can't stand, although they kind of got their little redemption at the end of this series. I would most definitely recommend this series to others.

I am surprised as I actually enjoyed it
Let me start off by saying, me and C dramas- do not mix well. I usually take very long to complete a drama from three weeks to a year (I kid you not), because I usually get a lull in the series that just doesn't persuade me in continuing with it. For this series, which I started due a seeing a gif on the global space feed, was not the case. I finished this series within less than a week and I must say, I actually enjoyed it!Story-8.5/10
For me, any series above sixteen episodes is too much ( maybe that's another reason why I don't like to watch C dramas as well). But, I saw a gif and saw the comments and decided 'why not?' And I am glad that I did. I loved the first thirteen episodes so much.
And yes, there was a bit of a lull that I always get when watching C dramas feom episodes fourteen to nineteen, it didn't deter me from wanting to continue watcing this series. It got better at twenty and totally changed the direction that I thought it would at twenty-two to twenty-four.
And I am actually not that mad at the ending (eventhough apparently there is a special episode that I have not watched). I am super glad that Duan Shui Liu and Dragon Lady got thier happy wnding as I was more invested in thier storyline.
Acting/ Cast-9.5/10
They were all just phenomenal, as they were able to make me feel the emotions that they were going through.
Music-8/10
The music was beautiful. And for that I will give it an 8.
Rewatch Valu-9.5/10
I'm going to shock myself and say this, as it is a C drama- yes, I would actually rewatch this series again. Because after finishing this series, I have already started missing these three couples, especially Duan Shui Liu and Dragon Lady.
Overall-9/10
Overall, this series was a nice, entertaining quick watch that I am gong to miss and I am glad that I saw that gif that spurred me into watching this. I would most definitely recommend this series.

Let's be real- this series is most definitely not for everyone
Where do I begin with this? Well, I have finished watching 'Rainbow Prince'. And what can I say? If you are looking for a drama with a good storyline and amazing acting...continue looking, cause this ain't it! Yet, somehow, I was able to enjoy myself when I watched it.Story-7/10
The storyline is a bunch of wackiness thrown together that you really can't take anything seriously about it. Yet, somewhere deep down (and I'm talking WAY deep down!), the story actually has a positive message. Well, at least I got one. And that is basically be you. Don't let people think that being you is wrong no matter your sexuality. So for that, as well as keeping me entertained each week (except for the last episode- it was a wee bit anticlimactic for me), I'm giving this series a 7.
Acting/Cast-6.5/10
Let's be real- it is not that good. However, there qere moments that seemed unscripted and that somehow worked for this series. Also, when the emotional scenes came for Adrian Dionisio (Prince Zeyn) and Eurwin Canzana (Mickey) in episodes eight and nine, I honestly felt that they did thier scenes good.
And the comic relief of Mr . Wang , Elena, Ryan, Mikey and Art/ Prince Zeyn kept me coming every week. And for that I'm gonna give it a 6.5.
Music-7/10
As this was a musical, there is a lot of signing (and I mean A LOT). There's like three to five songs each episode. Some were good (although a bit cringy). Some were bad (with a lot of cringe). And some just plain right sucked. So, for that I am going with a 7.
Rewatch Valu-6.5/10
In all honesty, I actually DO see myself watching this series again with it's bad acting and not so good singing (for some of the songs). Why you may asked? Because I was entertained each week when I watched a new episode, believe it or not!
Overall- 7/10
I give this series a 7/10. Hey, I know that it is not that good of a series. But it somehow touched me and kept me entertained be it every week I'm cringing at the cheesiness, laughing at the cheesiness, getting annoyed and angry at the Uncle and what he keeps telling Zeyn and also sometimes enjoying some of thier songs. Will I recommend this series to others? I honestly don't know, cause people may not like it or appreciate it the way that I did. And that's understandable.

So happy with myself- finally was able to finish this series!
I started this series and was addicted to it that I was looking forward to watching it on a weekly basis, Then, COVID-19 cases stared to rise badly in Taiwan, causing the series to stop filming for a while (100 plus days). However, it came back, reducing it's series total from twenty to eighteen, which I believed had a small impact on how well this series could be wrapped up for some of the characters. But all in all, I enjoyed it and I know that this has gotta be the highest rating that I have ever given a series that I placed on-hold.Story-9/10
I am breaking this up into four parts, the MC, the MM couple, the secondary couple and the supporting actors.
The MC-7/10
Dude, like I was not really invested in them. I actually liked the Piggy Side stories as this gives us a look at them younger and how Wang Hsuan Yu and Yan Fei's relationship developed from them. But, in all honesty, I rather their interactions with the other characters in this series than when they are together. That's basically why I am giving them a 7, for their other interactions with other characters. And yes, this even include their exes.
The MM couple- 10/10
Hands down- they were the best thing in this whole series. Loved when they started off on the wrong foot. And loved when they got together in the end. I mean, we were even given a marriage proposal! Even though they had a lot to go through to get their happy ending (And I mean A LOT!). And while I feel hat some parts moved a bit too fast as well as we don't know how the relationship is now with Mark and his parents, I am still giving it a 10, as I love them so much.
The secondary couple-9/10
I was originally going to give this couple a 10. But then I saw the last episode and was left a wee bit disappointed. Yes, they got together and even got married, but the audience was only informed of their marriage through a picture in the last episode. And it's through here that I saw that time was really against them as I just know that if they had those extra two episodes, maybe we would have been able to see a weeding between these two cute people.
Secondary characters-9/10
While I may love most of the characters, they were a few who annoyed me and so for that reason I decided to go with a 9.
Overall my score is 8.75/10, so I am going to round it up and give this series a 9.
Acting/Cast-9/10
Because I actually like the majority of the actors acting, I am going to give it a 9. The main couple, when they were together, just really didn't do it for me and as such, I can't give it the full score.
Music-10/10
I give the music a 10 cause when I binge watched from episode 11 to 18 and I heard those songs, it felt like if I was watching the series every week instead of the long break that occurred during this series. They were truly enjoyable and I am going to miss it.
Rewatch Valu-8.5/10
I give this series an 8.5/10. As I have previously sated, I personally felt that by doing eighteen instead of the twenty episodes, it affected the proper wrap-up of this series for some of the supporting characters. And also, I am not that eager to watch the MC and their story anytime soon.
Overall-9/10
Overall I give this series a 9/10 and it is not for the MC but for the other characters that I was introduced to. Anyway, another series done!

The first twelve episodes were excellent. After that...
So! I finally finished another drama that starred Song Joong Ki (I basically only watched this series due to the fact that he was starring in it-I'm not even gonna lie to you guys). And what can I say about it?. Well, here I go!Storyline-8/10
The first twelve episodes I loved to death. It made me fall for all of the characters, especially Song Joong Ki and Jin Goo. I will say this- I personally feel that it should have ended on episode twelve, cause well, the story arc was done (if you have watched it, you will know what I am talking about). However, it continued. Now episodes thirteen and fourteen, I also liked. But it was like a new storyline being introduced when something is coming to an end. They did handle that part of the story pretty well to.
Now! Here's where I got annoyed. Episodes fifteen and sixteen, especially sixteen, I don't see the need for it! And what kind of ending is that?!!! So, due to this reason, I have to give this series an 8.
Acting/Cast-10/10
I loved everyone's acting and felt that they did a phenomenal job! I can even say that some supporting characters even stole the series when they were on the screen. And yes, even the annoying characters that I wanted to strangle. Nothing but 10/10 from me!
Music- 10/10
The music was addictive and had me humming along with it when it was playing. And for that reason I am giving the addictive music a 10/10.
Rewatch Valu-8/10
To be honest with you, I do see myself watching the first twelve episodes- cause they were perfect to me. However, I honestly do not want to watch the remaining four episodes again. Especially the last two. So, for that, I will give the rewatch valu an 8/10.
Overall-9/10
I give this series a 9/10, because I felt that there were some flaws that I couldn't let go. All in all, I am very grateful that I was able to watch another series starring Song Joong Ki and was able to complete it as well.
