A gem!

I honestly was not expecting to be mesmerised with this series the way that I was. It was really under the radar to thw other three BL's that I am watching- 2 Taiwanese and 1 Thailand. Yet it was still able to somehow manage to hold a place in my heart!

Story-9.5/10
The relationship with Shi On and Hong Seok started off as a creditor and debtor but during the eight episode storyline turns into a budding romance. And I was glad that I was there for it! They had some issues along the way. But they were able to get thrpugh them in order to get the happiness that they deserved.

Acting/Cast-10/10
Hands down- loved the chemistry between the ML's. Also, the supporting cast made me hate them so much from Hong Seok's boss (unil the final episode) and Lex (I really hated him! If I could have go through the screen and punch him- I would!)

Music-9.5/10
Beautiful songs! Totally love them! They were able to set the mood of the series.

Rewatch Valu- 10/10
Hands down I would rewatch this series again! It was so simple and beautiful.

Overall-10/10
In the end, I thoufht that it was a simple, beautiful story thay was told. I would most definitely recommend this story!

It was better than it's Thai compilation

I finished this series today and what can I say? While it's not an outstanding series, it still have certain elements that made it better than its compilation 'Star and Sky: Star in My Mind.'

Story-7/10
While I may have seen previously a similar storyline, I still felt that it was told good. The story of Fah Prince, personally, to me, had some moments. It also had some flaws, which qere a bit annoying. But in the end, I liked it, so I'm giving it a 7.

Acting/Cast-7.5/10
I like Mek and Mark here amd thought they were excellent. Heck, I even liked Khabklluen and Daonuea here as supporting characters and not as main characters in thier previous series. Although at times, I thought they werevin this series a bit too much. So for that I qoll want give it a 7.5/10.

Music-8/10
The music is cool and enjoyable. So I giving it an 8.

Rewatch Valu-7.5/10
I do see myself watching this series again. Just might take some time to watch it agsin.

Overnight-7.5/10

Overall, I give this series the score of 7.5, which is higher than what I gave to it's Thai compilation.

A lot of NC scenes with a lack of plot does not make a good series

Disclaimer

What I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.

So, I just started this series on a whim and did not know what to expect. And while it started off strong, I felt that for me, it lost its appeal as it continued. I am not going to complain about the NC scene because the premise is about a sensual account holder and their fan. What I have an issue with is the plot of this series – or lack of it. Let's be real – this series was unable to carry out a good and entertaining series on the plot that it was given – a weak-ass father as a villain, the return of the former peach and a secondary couple that just did not really hold my interest.

I will say this – Ki Niwat Naknuan, who plays Saom, did a good job with his character, and I am equally impressed, as this was his first main role. While I may personally think he needs some improvement (his emotional scenes did nothing for me), he was WAY better than "Poom" Nuttapart Tuntistinchai, who played Po, as I felt when he was trying to be seductive/sexy, it just came across as cringy as hell to me. And when he was trying to be tough to his dad, that didn't transition well to me, one of many viewers.

I have also learnt about unnecessary stuff about peaches that, who knows, may become useful in the future. But I can say as of right now, it annoyed the hell out of me. I personally felt that the last episode felt more like a special episode, as the majority of the episode really didn't have anything to do with the series (except for one aspect of it that I will not divulge, as it can be seen as a spoiler if I do). They just basically wrapped up everything with a nice bow with some flashback scenes here and there.

P.S. – I am not even going into the excessive use of lip gloss because that too was annoying me so much.

Just as good as the Korean movie version

Disclaimer

What I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. You guys don't know- I have been looking for the Japanese series version to the Korean movie 'Midnight Runners' for a very long time as I totally adore the movie with all of my heart. And sometimes a new version of something that one holds dear can either be a hit or a miss. This series was definately a hit with me. I saw it on an illegal site in I think the year 2024, but when i went to see if I could watch it last year, the series was just...gone. So, I don't know why, but I looked for it recently and found all of the episodes on another site. And I was so grateful- because the Japanese did an excellent job in retelling the movie (with some parts of it in episode 1 and the whole storyline in episodes 2 and 3) as well as exploring new cases in the remaining seven episodes.

And what can I say? I utterly loved it. It introduced us to more police academy cadets as well as it gave us more chacrter development on the two male leads. The series was not only funny, it was emotional and also the bromance was so well done just as how it was in the movie. This was a quick, enjoyable watch for me as I finished all episodes in one sitting on one day . I honestly believe that more people should definatley watch this series.

Almost perfect

It has been a while since I have watched a GMMTV series. I think the last one was Memoir of Rati and that ended in early September. I started this series for one of the challenges for the MDL Watch Challenge 2026. And I am glad that I did. I enjoyed this series so much, and I will say that Pond and Phumin did an excellent job, as they as a couple have been getting better and better in their series.

I would have given this series a 10, but unfortunately, there is a small flaw with two supporting characters, Tawan and Aran. I hear that they were better in the book. It was unfortunate that they weren't handled that well here in this series. Everyone and everything else was just perfect. I know that I will miss these characters as this series has come to an end. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone that just wants to watch the blossom of a relationship and how they got there.

Edit on 20/01/2026:

Now I know why this series was enjoyable. It's because it didn't have that annoying troop of misunderstanding. Peach will always explain something to Mr Thee, telling him why it was wrong and how he felt about certain things (example with the all the people helping Peach when ne had to bath). And Mr. Thee always learned from it and improved himself. Heck, he was so transparent with Peach that he made sure that no misunderstading arose from any situation with him even telling Peach to review recordings to see that Tee did not do anything wrong. And I guess that's why I liked it- it was a breath of fresh air filled with the leads always trying to be honest to each other as well as learning from things.

It's hard to put into words

I am seeing a lot of people saying this, and I agree with them – this series is hard to rate. I mean, I finished this series in January 03, and I am now rating it on January 07. It did carry us on a journey, but the characters, oh, the characters. They had flaws that made me hate them as well as having me ask questions like, 'Why would they do that?' But, oh, I was entertained! Fan Xiao is a black flag. The things that he did to You Shu Lang are highly questionable, but he says that he does it for love.

I like the character of You Shu Lang in the beginning, as I feel proud of the way he handles things once he sees the true colours of Fan Xiao. But there is so much he can take of him as Fan Xiao keeps testing him. I honestly did not know how to think about Fan Xiao, as he did change his ways in the end. But was it a little too late? Was what he did previously too much to just be forgiven like that? I personally felt so. But I guess You Shu Lang wanted happiness in the end, and I guess seeing Fan Xiao change over these past few months made him personally feel he deserved a second chance.

All in all it was an entertaining show that carried me on a journey. I may not agree with how some of the things were handled in the final episode but I will agree that these two characters have made an impressionable impact on me with thier story.

This was enjoyable...until the last episode

I saw comments where viewers did not like the last two episodes, but this was kind of different for me. I loved all the episodes down to episode 13. It's in the final episode (episode 14) that I just did not like. Yes, we did go through K-drama cliches, but it worked beautifully for those 13 episodes. In episode 14 I felt that they were trying to do too much to wrap up this series.

So many things happened in the last episode that just had me going 'ugh' with the introduction of a certain K-drama troupe. And one of my pet peeves appeared not only once but twice (you can even say three times) in this episode. And then I also really didn't like the ending for the secondary couple due to the pet peeve that was used in this series – Yoo Ha Yeong deserved better from Kim Seon U.

And while the evil characters got their just desserts, I felt that they still wound up getting off easy from Kong Ji Hyeok. All in all, I may be in the minority that enjoyed this series for the majority of the run – it's just that the last episode really was not it for me.

I loved everything about it

Disclaimer

It's been a while since I actually binge-watched a series in less than one and a half days and thoroughly enjoyed it. The length of each episode was good, as I didn't get bored while watching them. The actors were phenomenal in their roles, portraying their characters in a way that made me cry/ be happy/be sad/ angry with them as well as for them. The music for this series was, of course, top-notch, making me bob my head along with it as well as (try to ) sing along with it.

I would have liked to get to know more about the ML's father as well as at least see the face of the person who trained him, but I guess those aspects add to the flair of this series. And, who knows? Maybe they might touch on these aspects in the new season when Hwang Min Hyun finishes his military enlistment this year.

I believe I like this series as it shows people that in a bad situation, you can still have a dream where you can better yourselves. That they should at least continue fighting for these dreams when there are negative things around them and in their lives- that's what I got to take from all of these characters. This was truly a wonderful and surprisingly entertaining series. Even though I originally watched this series for the MDL 2025 Watch challenge, I am glad that I did, and I highly recommend this series to other people who are wondering if they should give it a watch.

I must say that I enjoyed it, but I felt a little bit robbed

Disclaimer

So this series is the first Chinese BL omega series, and I didn't know what to expect. I must say that I was actually surprised. The way that these actors were able to portray these characters and bring them to life just amazed me. The duality that the actor Huang Xing did with his portrayal of Hua Young was amazing, as his character was first shown to us as an omega. But then his character shows his true colours as an enigma; a whole new personality is introduced to us. Qiu Ding Jie also played the role of Sheng well, as I enjoyed the relationship between Sheng and Hua throughout the series.

The second couple, Guao and Shen, stole the series and my heart. Am I disappointed with how things ended with them? Yes, yes, I am. But I am not mad, as I saw on Twitter that the way they ended it is basically the way that they end the book. This is one case where I wished the screenwriter actually went a different way from the book because Guao at least deserves his happy ending.

There were some scenes that I felt were not necessary. And then there were some scenes that I wished they had included/expanded on, but they didn't. I am grateful that we did get to see their kids, as I found the interaction between Peanut, their son, and Hua cute the way that they were fighting for the attention of Shen.

All in all, I am glad that I gave this a shot, as I did enjoy the series. I felt that the actors played their roles well and were able to bring the characters to life.

A series that kept me entertained

Disclaimer

Okay, the reason I decided to give this series a watch was for the two main actors – "Pond" Ponlawit Ketprapakorn and "Peterpan" Tadsapon Wiwitawan. I saw some of their previous works, and I liked their acting skills, even if I may not have liked the series. And I must say – they did not disappoint.

This is a series where one of the main characters, Armin, goes back in time after a horrible incident that led to his death. And it's from here that we, the viewers, are entertained every week as we wait to see the outcome of this story. We are introduced to a variety of characters as Armin tries to go through his new life that he has been given, as well as working on his passion for acting.

While he navigates this new life, he meets Thada, and they develop a close relationship. Along the way, they encounter obstacles in the form of jealous co-actors (it was really nice seeing First Chalongrat Novsamrong here, as he played a different character than I am used to seeing him play) and jealous stepbrothers, just to name a few. I will also say that I was a little shocked on seeing Thiwthit's true feelings towards Thada, which led me to watch Thiwthit in a new way, but yet was still shocked at what happened in the end concerning him.

This series was well done, with the storyline flowing through it and keeping us viewers entertained, showing our emotions through happiness, anger and sadness (because these guys went through A LOT to get their happy ending).

P.S.- I love Secretary Veynai so much!

Just falls short from the prequel's score for me

I want to start off by saying I totally adored the predecessor of this (BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita: Crank Up Hen). So, when I saw that a second season was being done with this couple, I was ecstatic seeing them once more again. I will admit that it had the same formula that made the first season work – but yet, somehow, I honestly felt that it fell short and just did not live up to its predecessor.

Don't get me wrong – I still adore all of the characters. I just felt that this season was somehow not up to par as the first one. Maybe because we saw these shenanigans and cliches in the first season, and while it was cute then, it kind of fell flat here. And I personally think that's why I did not enjoy it as much as I did with the first season.

Cute, fluffy series about life and love

Disclaimer

What I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. I have now been able to find the time to write a review for this series. I did complete this series on the 6th of July, 2025. And, what can I say? This series was cute as we got to know the love lives, friendships and lives of Shane, Kit, Kim, Mon, Tar and Per along with their teachers Tan and Nat. We are not only introduced to these guys falling in love but also with everyday life challenges that they face while navigating through their school/work and their love.

Is this series fluffy and gives you butterflies while watching them? You bet your bottom dollar it does. But it also gives you real-life situations that I honestly thought would have gone another way, but they didn't. Two examples are that Kim and Mon will be going to different colleges, and they will be trying a long-distance relationship with them. I honestly thought that one of them might give up their dream just for them to be together. Another one is that I actually thought that Shane would have been successful in getting the scholarship, but he was not, and while it took him some time, he applied himself to go to college in Thailand instead to carry out his new dream.

While the two main lead couples did steal the series, I also adored the relationship between Tar and Per as well as the teachers, Tan and Nat. Tar and Per seem to be at the tentative beginning of a relationship that can turn into lovers, and that's why it's so cute to me. Tan and Nat were also a cute couple that at times seemed to guide these youths in their young lives. All in all, it was truly a cute and fluffy series, which I knew it was going to be. What I didn't expect it to do was to also teach us along the way as it did. I truly recommend this series to anyone who wants to watch it.

Sometimes watching a series can leave you lost for words – sometimes that can be a good thing or a bad thing. In this case, it was a good thing. This series was able to keep my attention from beginning to end, a rare feat at times, as there were no skipped parts in any of the episodes, which is why I cannot find any faults in this series. It was so addictive that at times, I personally felt that the episodes were short due to how engrossed I was in watching the series. This series had everything – excellent plot, awesome acting and even comedic timing.

It was able to carry me through emotions, with me laughing at one moment and then getting very emotional at another time. I am glad that I decided to give this series a shot, as it did not disappoint me at all. I would totally recommend this series to anyone out there.

Story focuses on one of my pet peeves

This story can solely be said to come about due to a misunderstanding between the two men – Kim Min Jun and Jin Hwan. And I can say that I get the misunderstanding from when they were younger (22 years), but to have it still EIGHT YEARS LATER – yeah, that is going to annoy me. And before people ask – no, I did not check the tags out to know that misunderstanding was there.

This misunderstanding theme was predominant throughout the six episodes, as I guess it helped to prolong the storyline of the MC. I understand the need for it, but there were times I wanted to kick, if not one of them, both of them due to this little misunderstanding. While it is a quick watch, there were times I had to watch over certain parts, as I did lose interest in between episodes. But I will say this: after rewatching those parts, at the end of the six episodes, we the viewers were able to see that love and common sense were able to prevail, and that is truly all that we wanted.

It's definitely not what I expected

This was supposed to be Park Jinyoung's last series when he enlisted in the military, but it was released after he fulfilled his mandatory enlistment. And well, it was not what I was expecting it to be. I will say that after watching the first four episodes, I did lose some interest in this series. However, episodes 5 onwards drew me back in and carried me on an unexpected journey.

We must call a spade a spade—yes, Park Jinyoung's character is a stalker/has stalker-like qualities. We are explained that he wants to find a way for the FL-Park Mi Jeong—to live a normal life and to not live the life as 'the witch', as she has lived a cruel life in her younger years. He does collect data and analyze all the factors that surround her to get the end result. The series was able to keep my attention, as I wanted to know what the end result would have been.

While he collected data on the FL, he has also collected data on his best friend, as he too is 'a witch' (this was a shock to me as leading up to this, I wanted to know what was the purpose of his friend throughout the series). I will say what threw me off a bit was the 'romance' between the SL. I felt that came out of nowhere, but maybe that was just me.

This series was indeed an interesting watch, with some qualities that we may not like about the ML. But it was still able to keep my attention, as I did want to know if the ML would have succeeded in his case study about the FL.
