guess im the rare one for actually liking the last 2 eps haha. i think it's more realistic the way it is than blahblah happening 🙏(no spoilers ofc)

as a push to finally complete it! maybe on friday ill check it out cuz usually on fridays, i usually choose and watch a movie 😁

true that i also consider 9-10 top rated shows to me or 8.5 sometimes as well.
well if ur in a mood to watch d.p. after 2521 i'd recommend not to lmao. i have a passion for depressing things and if u too have passion for it then i'd actually recommend d.p. for sure.
2521 is a good show, it makes me feel nostalgic abt things ive never experienced. one of my top dramas as of now

i usually go deep whenever i watch a show or movie. i either would love myself for doing that or hate myself for ruining a show that i had once loved. well, ig im a nit-picking person when it comes to drama selection as my ratings suggest that there r only 3 shows ive given 10/10, no movies with ratings more than 8.5, i havent watched a cdrama yet cuz i got so hooked up with kdramas that it's hard to find a good cdrama. that's not only limited to cdramas but ive dropped a lot of kdramas as well 🙏
anyways, the way u worded the grandma was pretty funny lmao

when lr was airing, i had actually liked it a lot. it was my early days in kdramas as well so i didnt rly focus on the story line and js enjoyed it as it is but after a year when i tried to rewatch it, i think my taste in dramas had drastically changed.

to clarify some of the points i mentioned earlier:

- abt the grandma arc, for the first 15 eps they tried to show us that the reason for the time travel was the watch but then suddenly in the last ep it seems like the grandma is connected but the question is how? how is she able to do that? is she the creator of all this? if that's the case then is she faking her illness? or is it that someone else's soul, maybe an almighty's soul took over her body to let her have the power of timetraveling watch. they didnt clear a lot abt that topic

- oh well what i meant wasnt the useless spend of money by the fl, i meant that she wasnt acting her age at all through out the series. she's 34 but still acted like a teenager the whole time through out the series.

- yep thats true and maybe somewhat an invalid point to be considered as well. maybe it's my person dislike for characters who act like teenagers when they are mid 30's already.

- the last point is solely based on opinions and personal view. i do get that some ppl fall in love at first sight but the way the ML did was some what insane to me. like he had just met her twice in his entire life time yet he wasnt able to move on for 15 years. maybe cuz im a type of person who wants reasons for everything, i wasnt able to understand why the ml was ready to decide that she is the love of his life when his eyes js met with hers once. i think it could have written in a better way. (no comparisons but if it were written like how it was in youth of may, i would have understood it better)

oh well i dont wanna get cooked alive by some other fans so ill state some reasons for me disliking the show.

- the killer plot seemed like it was added just for the shake of plot. it had no actual reasons to be added and it just seemed too random. it felt like it was added just to drive the leads apart
- the grandma related arc was left incomplete and out of place
- the FL, despite being a 34 yo never acted like her age which was.. too cringe for me to handle. (i do get that she wasnt able to get any job cuz of her disability but why is she spending the money her brother earns (the only one who earns in the family) and he has feed the family of 4 as well. him being her life savior shouldnt be the only reason for her to spend the money reckless tbh.)
- and also the acting being too "cutesy" felt more like over exaggerating to me instead esp of the FL 💔(i may seem like attacking khy more but trust, i actually like her and her acting. i loved her acting in other shows like snowdrop and midnight)
- the "love at first sight" didnt add up to me well. like the time he spend with her was anything more than 5 mins and he is ready to give up on life for her. idk i felt like it could have been written differently making it seem more realistic.

him being confused abt whether he had romantic feelings or not someone who wasnt the FL was enough of a reason for her to break up with him

true. after all the waiting what the fans r getting is a mini album. it's a real disappointment to me ngl

yep, their mini album is confirmed to be released on 27 feb

i havent rated it below 5 but not above 7.5 either. i can state some reasons if u like (as u said u didnt see any logical or possible ones)

i havent tried the other 2 dramas u said below but abt weightlifting fairy kbj, i got some mixed feelings abt the relations being healthy. at the beginning of their friendship and relationship i kinda find the ML's behaviors somewhat toxic.
i appreciate for the list and suggestions! im always in search for shows with healthy relationship so it'd be a great help for sure! :D

yes i believe that's true. but what i argued for wasnt about kpdh's runtime, it was for the specific statement u made. "Movies longer than 90 minutes are just wasting your time" which i disagree with.

real i still do watch movies that r considered to be 'kids movies' but i genuinely enjoy them. i dididnt feel the same for kpdh but ye opinions differ for everyone ig

the total length of kpdh was 1hr 39 min. which means it was a total of 99 minutes. by ur logic, does it mean that kpdh wasted ur time?
and a movie being more than 90 minutes isnt a waste of time if u actually enjoy it. i can watch a movie of 180mins if i actually like it but if its a movie of 90 mins but i despise then yes, it's a huge waste of my time.

these r some of the shows that i can think of as of now for the gernes u mentioned.
- perfect marriage revenge, marry my husband- timetravel, revenge (both of them have pretty much the similar plot so if u like one, it's safe to assume u would like the another one as well)
- i, the executioner (movie) i think it fits the gernes u mentioned.
- gyeongseong creature
- silent sea
- bad and crazy

some cases here had happened in korea
