the variety show has more xie wei and ning'er scenes together than the drama lol

that hug scene and the awkward tension when they met again had me screeching. chemistrying so much theyre not even doing that much lol. still slow but progress is progress i guess 😮‍💨

i resumed watching the sokp variety show and bailu and zlh moments are gold. i didnt even know zlh's real name before this lol. and all cast are really fun together.

but modern xw and jxn have a modern photoshoot. i mean bl and zlh had a modern photos together as part of sokp promotions? so i was assuming they would add it in the end or something?

Got to say tho, xie wei and zhang zhe's rivalry is kind of healthy. i mean they don't scheme just to get the girl. they're just doing their own thing respectively. both smart too, just different approach on things. just like how that man from the Yan troop said they would make a good team if they work together. of course, they cant but let's see where it goes

you know it's a good drama when you get surprised an episode has already ended. also i love the way that every plot points are moving simultaneously. i like the flow so far. i'm glued in front of my laptop the whole time lol my mother complaining every time i react and making some noise 😅 hmm the shift between the ships is actually fine, not abrupt. the turning point of that realization by jxn is well executed. then there she confides with xw and from there their loveline will flow well (hopefully). aww sad just when zz accepts his feelings for jxn, thats also when jxn rejected it. i like how we had the glimpse of their past, very sad and heavy. theyre just not meant to be 😔. and another couple bloomed! so cute. in the midst of tensions, here comes Mr Lyu and Miss You in their arranged marriage trope. i hope we get to see their love develops after marriage. and of course, the scene stealer. Xue Dingfei! the fake that just acts as good as the og xie wei. Looking forward. I hope the momentum keeps going strong. im really loving everything rn 🥹
