I am looking forward for the next episodes, it is a unique noir/dark historical drama series. I did not really know what was going on in the early 80s in Korea, it is a good history lesson as well as "fascinating" storyline for me. I know it, right? I do not think Yoo Tae Young would want to stay with him if he is a struggling destitute musical actor. Tae Young wants to date him only after she knows he is a doctor. In the story she seems to be supporting his decision to become a musical theater but if he is only a background actor or a Ensemble member, would she be still with him or be rathe marrying that "MIT" graduate? I agree, I am disappointed, the drama series ends with Lee Ki's story in limbo.
I am disappointed that Lee Ki wants to be a musical actor with little talent and quits his medical residency program. What a disappointment. Nothing wrong in pursuing a career in musical theater if he has a talent in musical dancing and singing, but he does not even have any talent in that field. I think there will be more than one protagonist in this story that involves First Invasion in AD 903, Second Invasion in AD 1009, and Third Invasion in AD 1018 that involves so many generals and kings.
