It was her company that she was the head of that did tax evasion so legally speaking she’s responsible I guess. I’m hoping she’s not canceled but if it’s like the rest of the high profile cases, she’ll either be permanently canceled or she’ll be in cold storage for more than a few year. Sucks because she was really getting bigger and bigger.

The ending got me right in the feels but I guess it’s also a great set up for the second part (if they make it) when he falls in in with MRL. That’s such a weird combo since she’s 18 years younger than he is in the show. Maybe not that big of deal in the book but weird. I kinda wished he’d managed to touch her face like he tried to. It’s interesting to me because he wasn’t in love with CLS but at the same time that wasn’t just sibling love!

Well since this is sort of a rebirth thing, she dies in the fire and is reborn 10 years in time to right before her 18th birthday. I assume this is vague because of Chinese censorship requirements.
