I watch all the raw episodes first and then I watch them again once they are subbed. I’m lucky I guess because I understand most of the dialogue. But actually I find reading the Mandarin subs very helpful with the raw episodes. Haha but thank goodness for English subs

Basically the old man Qin said that it’s because of Sun pasting that notice that made the people of Shuozhou lose their anger against Changge. Also said he is such a good archer even he wondered why Changge didn’t die when he shot her.

Actually if you read the history of what happened, Li Shimin becomes Emperor Taizong, considered one of the best emperors in history. Changge’s dad and his other brother are shown in the first episode to have plotted to get rid of Li Shimin and her mother overheard their conversation when she went over to deliver him deserts. In the manhua, Li Shimin rescued Changge’s mom on a battlefield and they were in love. Actually she killed her self in the manhua too, her uncle didn’t. Anyway, all of her family was killed and her grandfather the emperor eventually stepped down a few months later for Li Shimin to become emperor.
