i have only seen 4 episodes of vice versa and im trying to piece together what isn't working for me. while the cinematography and the acting is good, the plot is where it falls apart. it feels boring to me. here's a few reasons why. first, apart from the paraellel universe thing, it feels like a slice of life. is that a bad thing? no, but it wasn't sold to me as that. the reason why people are disappointed in the show is because they weren't expecting the show to be so slow. for me, i thought it would be 2 guys trying to get back to our current universe with them trying to be different people. instead it's just 2 guys living their lives as different people with those around them not really caring. second, both talay and puen act a lot different from tess and tun yet nobody really cares. when talay brought a drunk tun home, none of tess's family questioned it. when tess and tun constantly hangout with each other, none of tun's friends question it. does tess's parents acknowledge that tess is acting different? this leads me to onto another point. we don't know much about talay, puen or tun. we've seen tess's life and his relationship with tun but that's about it. if the series is focused on human relationships, then why not explore as many as we can? there are so many different types of relationships yet we barely know talay's, puen's or tun's relationships with other people, such as their parents. i also have one more to point to make. the transmigration thing isn't done too well currently. it feels like a side plot rather than the actual plot. i don't know what more i want from it but it feels like it's lacking. maybe these issues will be covered in the future, who knows? i could also be wrong about this too.
i feel like the story had a strong plot for the first half of the drama and near the end, the screenwriters were just freestyling. this show didn't need 18 episodes
