Rep 88 is a slow burn drama, it's too much for those who are not in the mood. I also had to prep myself before watching but once I started watching,,, AHHH it's such a great one. A great coming of age series, their OSTs are nostalgic too! Try again if you ever had the time. But tbh rep88 is the only drama I liked from their reply series, I didn't like 1997 & 1994 much & dropped it. Anw, I'll keep this one in my list and give it a try soon.

I'm a huge huge huge fan of rep 1988 it's my all time fave,,,, some said this drama gave rep88 vibe... should I watch it? I don't wanna be disappointed hehe

I just finished watching and simon gong got me hooked tbh, another actor to look out for.. I saw some comparing this to Put Your Head on My Shoulder & I watched PYHOMS way back before this one. I got to admit that the chemistry in PYHOMS is stronger than the couple in this drama but the plot of this drama is better than PYHOMS. It took me a lot more eps to get used to the FL but she's tolerable. Her eyes looked like the eyes of Geum Jan Di from BOF-korea & OMG she's so young!! Actors here know how to act wc was a pleasant surprise unlike other chinese light dramas I've watched.

PS I watch my chinese dramas in 1.5x so it's manageable lol.

I found myself here after Here to Heart,, first few eps in & it's cute light n fluffy. A good break from heavy dramas. Watch with a light heart & no expectations for a better reaction!!

Haven't seen jisoo in a drama yet but my baby Hae In & Yoo In Na is enough for me to wait for this expectantly!

I gotta say,,,, regardless of the many unnecessary things added... the chemistry of FL & ML kept me thru I just wanna see them live and be happy together did it really need to take 40 eps???????

Kept me up bingeing til 4am,,,, 30 eps down lmao 1.5x speed is the key thanks Netflix!

Also gives me the 'Signal' series vibe at the beginning of the film (Signal is an all time fave), I must say I'm not a fan of park shin hye but she did great here

also, is it just me but you can really tell that lee dong wook is noticeably old now... he's only 39 but he looks older & is thinner... that doesn't affect his acting though, still a great veteran in acting <3

Also would want to comment that its the first time I see that almost all the main male casts are idols lol, I tend to compare them to Do Kyungsoo bc he's exo that ventured also to acting but he's got that undeniable talent in acting that led him to win many awards including daesang when he was only starting to act. Hehe hope I can also see some growth in the idol-turned-actors like I saw with Do Kyungsoo
