Overall good drama. I've watched multiple dramas with Esther so i know what to expect from her but ML's acting was great too! Very expressive eyes and played the role well. A bit surprised there was no second couple despite all the supporting cast. The 1st half was better than the 2nd half since I felt it was a bit slow and dragged out towards the end. Lots of kissing scenes for fans to enjoy.

This was unfortunately pretty terrible. The story makes no sense what so ever. Script writers decided to split the evil male role into 4 dudes instead. Super unnecessary and pretty annoying too. All the evil brothers are super one dimensional and continously spew nonsense. Like others said, the ML is barely in this and doesn't show up until 40 mins in. I had watched this because of the him since he was really great in another drama, but this one was a waste of time. There was a lack of development in romance and definitely not the focus on this drama. I would have dropped this but I'm the kind that always finishes what I start. Do yourself a favor and don't watch this one. Please skip at all costs.

This CP has done it again! What a fun well written one with a good script. I love how sassy FL is. And amazingly, this has their actual voices instead of the usual dubbing; what a rare gem this one is!

This is very similar to 好一个乖乖女 (What a Good Girl) starring Ke Chun and Yu Yin. Same basic premise though slightly less intense and dark (but only slightly, it's still a very serious themed storyline with a lot of violence so warning you in case you're sensitive to that). The romance I think was not as well developed in this one but it was nice to see FL playing a more intense and stronger character and I do love this CP so much. The styling for FL in this one is fantastic. Her last few dramas I don't know if she had gained weight or not but they kept making her look so frumpy. Her outfits and hair in this one are so much nicer. Appreciated that this one was a bit longer to allow the storyline to develop more. Definitely for those who prefer watching dark/intense dramas.

This CP is one of my favs. This one not bad. I liked how mentally strong FL is in this one. For being a protagonist, she was kinda evil and a bit villainous but in a good way.

This one is so fun. This was an interesting story concept and the breaking of the 4th wall is so refreshing. There are massively cheesy moments but they actually make sense due to the storyline. FL is so pretty, i love her hair! Romance is definitely more of a side thought and not really the focus of the drama but it was an interesting watch.

Forgot to mention but the hair and outfits in this one were pretty bad. Enough that it often distracted me from the story.

The FL really held the drama together. Her character was smart and fun. The ML was written not prominent enough and so it felt like drama was mostly about FL with a ML that's really only there as a supporting character. He barely said much in the first half of the drama. The romance also wasn't really there for me and the drama was mostly about family dynamics/politics. Was expecting a bit more out of this one but was a bit disappointed instead.

This was a very well written script. I liked how their relationship developed throughout the drama. And despite there being a toxic "friend", it wasn't overly cheesy or over the top. The drama flowed well and there wasn't any weird disconnects. Overall a good drama. The two main leads always pick good scripts and projects to work on.

On another note, my Chinese isn't 100% but it baffles me why the title has whale in it. I just don't get it. Someone explain please.

This one is pretty cute overall. I always think Liang Si Wei plays these types of roles perfectly. He has this innocent smile that just works so well with these types of cute characters. Also super rare we get actual voices instead of heavily dubbed so that was refreshing too. Loved how the family (aside from the step brother of course) is so sweet. I get tired of the scheming and toxic stepfamily tropes that's way too overdone. Overall ML and FL and SML acted well and this was a pretty good watch.

I like how the FL is pretty strong in this one; has a sense of self and career driven. ML was quite cute as a 弟弟.

Love the ML's family so much. They were even more accepting than ML himself! The romance was a bit rushed between them and I really don't like how they got together initially was nonconsensual. But drama was cute overall and I'm glad they actually killed off the stepmom and stepbro.

Overall acting very good, but story is too dark for my liking.

There were some good reviews so i watched it but man was this really dark and kinda regret it. The main couple is so toxic and overall theme quite disturbing so fyi if you decide to watch this. Yes it was real spicy in the beginning but at the same time it didn't make sense. I feel like there was a lack of explanation on how they ended up meeting each other and was in this weird relation where they are together physically but not emotionally or mentally. Like why were they "helping" each other at all at the beginning. Most of the time we look forward to couples ending up together but they were already together-ish to start with so there wasn't that much satisfaction there. And there was so much back and forth with misunderstandings and no communication that it got annoying towards the end. I really like the ML as an actor, he's very good expressing emotions and doing a great job portraying the role, but i feel like i wasted my time on this drama.

The comments were kinda tough on this one but I actually quite liked it. The ML was intense and captivating. The FL was strong and wasn't a pushover. Funny how the actress keeps playing roles of twins and memory lost just like in Embrace in the Dark Night. I liked that drama too so I didn't mind. I watched two dramas with ML and I think I'm a fan now. Will continue to follow to see what else he's got.

This drama was so visually stunning. The scenes and backgrounds were beautiful for a low budget vertical drama. I very much liked the vampire story though funny enough they never outright said he's a vampire nor does he ever actually drink blood. I wonder if it has to do with Chinese censorship but I don't know.

This was a pretty fun and interesting one. The ending was quite odd and a bit convoluted as I never knew when it was actually going to end or not. It kinda just kept going and going much longer than I expected. Overall FL's energy was fun and entertaining. ML had much more emotion than expected which made him sweet and vulnerable. Some things in the story didn't make any sense but that's typical short drama stuff for you.
