I just finished watching a T-drama called Skip Beat. It's based on a anime/manga that I really loved and I was really glad to watch the drama cause I got to relive once again that franchise I love so much! <3
The drama really got me hooked, I burned through it in 2 days :)
Idk if I'd recommend it to you though, it's pretty shoujo-ish. dunno if guys would enjoy it.

Yeah, I was just letting you know what I thought after finishing it, if you really dislike Siwon I wouldn't recommend you watch it. I was only able to enjoy it cause he doesn't really bother me that much. though I don't particularly like him.
They did however get me hooked on the theme song /o\ can't stop listening to it lol

Hiya! Once again, sorry for the delayed reply, I was taking my weekend time off ^^;;
Yeah, Skip Beat does get better. The first 2 eps were a little slow and maybe a tad awkward, but the next ones are really good!
They did a very literal adaptation from the manga, even some of the dialoges are exactly the same! They only added a few little things here and there and changed or cut some others. The only change that bothered me a little bit was the female lead's age. In the manga/anime she's 16 and wishes she could go to high school, in the drama she's 20 wishing she could go to college lol
that should make her relationship with "Ren" sound easier, I didn't buy it at times...
All 3 lead actors, though, I'm sorry to say, were kinda bad. Including Donghae :( but that's ok, I forgive him <3 it was great watching him just for the eye candy hehe
I thought Siwon was the most passable lead. :/

You porbably saw another version... The newest one with Hiroshima Hiro came out justa couple of weeks ago.

Well,I do know that every celebrity has like their own personal stylist, so they probably do have a wide market for that over there!
The thing that put me off about moving to Korea was how superficial Korean people are. Of course you can't say every one is like that, but it's something that's so pertaining to the society as a whole that it really creeps me out.
I'd still prefer to live in Japan, in spite of all the weirdness they have going on over there.
Though I do think fashion industry is much more awesome in South Korea! If I were ever to become a designer I'd give living there a try ... maybe... lol
Anyway, if you do become a stylist for some cute idols would you introduce me to them pleaasee? xD
I guess I'll need to brush up on my Korean too hehehe

And also, I see what you meean, learning a new language through a prerviously aquired foreign language can be dangerous, but it's pratically impossible to find Korean learning material in Portuguese. It might be different with German, idk. Anyway, I don't really have much choice but to resort to English. But that's cool, I feel comfortable with English, so I didn't have any hard times so far. I used to learn Japanese with English materials too. Now I use 100% Japanese stuff... scary. But I do have a native teacher to help out, that makes a world of difference heheh

I don't want to disencourage you, though. Moving to Korean is not something that's impossible. If that's your dream just go for it. But the one thing I can assure you is that you're gonna have to work your ass off on your Korean.
I think starting a study grop is always a good idea, even if there's no one to control the group. We can always just send our questions and doubts to Korean people on language learning forums or blogs and podcasts. They're always very helpful. I've already tried that before.
It's the same thing as self-studying, you knoow, the only difference is that having regular study meetings would serve as motivation and help us persevere and not straying from our studies.

I understand how scary it is coming out of collegue and looking for a job. Been there. But don't worry,I'm sure you'll figure it out in the end ^^ I'll be cheering for you! woohoo!
However, if you do plan on moving and working on Korea, I'd recomend going to grad school there or something like that. It's an easier way to enter Asian society. rather than just moving and there and looking for a job. Especially if you don't speak the laguage on a native-like proficiency level.
I wanted to move to Korea too so I read a lot about working there and the society in general and I've given up heheh They're still very closed to foreigners,though they say that's been changing.

Running Man is pretty cool!! I really recommend you watch it. It's a vaariety show where some celebrities come and play around with the permanent RM cast. They usually compete in groups and in the end the winners get a prize. It's really fun and educative too,I've seen many idols that I had never heard of before, and now I love,for the first time there :)

Actually I started learning Korean, I studied really hard for about a month but gave up.. it's hard to keep up if you're studying on your own. I just lacked the motivation.
