You're right, this drama is definitely not "50 Shades-esque." You're watching the wrong drama if you're expecting a raunchy story line. This drama has more depth than that. Infidelity isn't exclusive to the physical aspect. Emotional infidelity very much exists, and this drama offers a realistic outlook on what happens when you settle for a partner or let problems in a relationship fester. Again, this drama is about overcoming what one feels they're obligated to do, and finding the strength to do what's best for oneself.

I think it's unfair to oversimplify this drama as you have. This drama has many layers, layers that are relatable to people who are stuck in an unfulfilling relationship, but have gotten used to years of routine. This drama is about the struggle of doing what's "right" vs what's best for oneself.

I first watched this as a teenager and loved it; now as someone in my late 20s, I love it even more, as Dal-ja's character is extremely relatable. This will always be one of my favorite dramas!
