as I have understood that they do explain this more in depth in the coming episode. I have stopped watching it and plan to binge watch them from ep 12-16 once the show is complete. I already feel the break up coming and isnt willing to wait a whole week to know how this show raps up out of fear that I might drop it all together due to frustration. I did tooooo!!! But they're usually vilified, I did truly want them to be taken down... but with this king (maybe its the acting/narration/weak plot) but he really has nothing going on for him. I dont hate him, nor do I like him, he isnt doing much for me. Do you know what I mean?

loooooool!!! little did he know that by him attempting to kill said son, would make the wheel turn in motion of said prophecy... The IRONY!!! this is why the saying keep your friends close but your enemies closer would have been a better option for him in that case.

he would have been a baby and wouldnt be able to rule, and he would have to be at least be in his teenage years plus married to fully get the throne. Thats whats ticking me off, the cinematography is of the top for this show, but the reasoning thats driving this show is really weak. He had sooooooo many ways to avoid his son being the king. And I dont understand why everyone is sooooo empathic towards him. The queen doesnt even hate him knowing that he has killed her son. They've scripted one of the worst villain of all time.

I get that... but he will eventually die, dont they usually appoint a crowned prince (in that case it would be nokdu) to rule after the passing of his father(the king)????? wouldnt it have been easier if he just made nokdu the crowned prince and just lived his life being the king until he died and had the throne passed on to his on flesh and blood???

I think there is a reason why dan oh is the mainlead of the historical drama(correct me if I am wrong)... I have read somewhere that this will all be tied down once the show ends... unless they plan on going the other direction and dont follow the manhwa

That 9.2 is well deserved Plot is AMAZING Story/ character building is AMAZING Cast is AMAZING Acting is AMAZING what more does a person need??? Just because it has a light theme, doesnt mean it doesnt deserve that 9.2 if not more.
it isnt... I too thought that this was going to have a supernatural twist to it... nope... just normal people
I think both... There is that one main bad guy that is driving the plot... but there re also a villain every episode that also drive the plot... its really good, there is a bit of dark comedy there you will enjoy.
to those being butt hurt by the fact that this show according to them "is too highly rated" and that xxx show was like way better and grounding break, need to calm down. Just because a show is more on the comedic side, doesnt cater to a mature audience, isnt realistic, and doesnt question the existence of human kind, DOES NOT discredit how gooood, wonderfully scripted, AMAZINGLY CAST this show is... not everything has to be serious or catered to adult for it to have a high rating, learn to live a little and enjoy things once in a while.
