The nostalgia :’)))) I was so emotionally attached to Ao Haru Ride back in high school, I loved the anime and manga so much but I didn’t know it got a series adaptation until a few weeks ago. It was so heartwarming to watch and brought back so many fond memories :’) 💙 can’t wait for season 2!

Yesss, we love Song Kang praise in this household! There’s just something about his eyes and micro expressions that makes you feel all the emotions without the need for lines. He’s seriously incredible 🤍

Like leave him alone! Everyone is free to express their own opinion but then you reach the point where you can tell that they’re just being hateful on purpose. Lots of people said his acting has improved but as someone who hasn’t seen any of his previous works yet, I can only praise him and say that he’s a great actor since I personally find his performance in MD amazing. His looks aside, I genuinely enjoyed his acting in every episode and I especially love how good he is at emotional scenes and micro expressions. He doesn’t deserve all this hate :(

Exactly! The number of people I’ve seen going “did Dohee forget he’s a demon lol” umm no she didn’t? but the thing is, she never saw that dark side of Guwon before and it was literally right after she learned the truth and got the shock of her life- she obviously imagined her dad in the exact same position, dying the same way. How is that supposed to make her feel and how else was she supposed to react?

I’m glad that wasn’t the case, we’re heartbroken enough as it is 😭

I went to rewatch it again after seeing the comments below and they’re right. At first she gave him her right hand, but later during the walk he was holding her left hand so the ring was actually there all along 🥹🥹

Ohh that’s true, I just rewatched it again and when he offered to go for a walk she gave him her right hand but during the walk, the hand he was holding was her left

Exactly! I really love Dohee and don’t see why would anyone criticize the way she deals with her emotions, knowing everything she’s been through. Plus, people don’t seem to understand that there’s a big difference between “stiff” acting and portraying a cold, traumatized character. Yoojung did a superb job!
