The fact that Sunjae witnessed Sol getting hit by that taxi driver right before his eyes will haunt me forever… him breaking down and apologizing shattered my heart, you can tell how scared and helpless he was feeling from his shaky voice and the way he was gasp-crying… I can’t begin to imagine how much guilt and regret he carried all those years. Wooseok’s acting was absolutely brilliant in that scene, he delivered the emotions so well
Okay but the taxi driver didn’t get arrested in 2008 when Sunjae managed to save Sol from the accident before she went back to the present, and in Sol’s dream it looked like Sunjae was there to save her from someone, and then he got pushed out of the window… her mom also said “why would you bring back something that happened 14 years ago” so the kidnapper must’ve come for Sol again in 2009

Just finished rewatching episodes 5 and 6 again! I never rewatch ongoing dramas while waiting for new episodes, but it has been genuinely impossible not to come back to Lovely Runner throughout the week, it’s such a feel-good show that fills me with warm fuzzies and a sweet sense of nostalgia. I love that no matter how many times I rewatch some scenes, they still make me laugh or give me butterflies just the same. I still feel the same joy I did the first time, which is why it’ll always be my go-to comfort watch :’) can’t contain my excitement for episode 7 💛💙
