all these complaints for this drama and I’m sitting here really enjoying it. I have been sick and tired of random murder plots being added to my romcoms for the past many years. I love me a regular romcom that I can shut off my brain and enjoy their banters and growing relationship. I also think the drama is more relatable to people that have been through hardships in life and work, basically people in their late 20s and 30s. the leads are amazing (coming from someone that has not seen much of either)!
glad I didn’t let the comments dissuade me from watching cause this was actually a pretty good drama. I’m into slice of life type of dramas though. first time watching this FL and wow she did great! also she’s so pretty, too.
But Ying Zi met Yi Fei. Wasn't she the one who asked Yi Fei to gather everyone?
I found it odd that there was only 4 people in the group chat for the friend group, cause shouldn't it be 5??? cause we know Jiang Yi never kept in contact with them after he left to go to England, so he wouldn't be in there.
Also, I went back to look at this scene. Ying Zi emailed Yi Fei with tears in her eyes. Then she's in a taxi and then her eyes closed and the bg music had like a dreamlike effect. Then it cuts to her meeting Yi Fei in the hotel lobby, then it cuts back to her in the taxi. So it kind of makes me wonder if that was a dream. :(
I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS AND THOUGHTS after reading comments and watching ep 5.
So if the theory is correct that Yi Fei is dead, but Ying Zi mentioned how she saw her and is doing well to grandma.... does this mean that they all have been keeping this a secret from grandma? Or is it something that grandma that does not want to believe that her granddaughter is dead, so suppressed it and so everyone is playing along?
I really want to know what Ying Zi did in the past to make her feel like she wronged Jiang Yi for her to feel like she owes him now... And really want to know what exactly caused them to not see each other for 12 years.
I am enjoying this more. I tried My Boss and couldn’t get into it.
yeah, I agree that I prefer my female lead more mature most of the time. think it’s cause I’m old now lol. the 36 episodes is worrying cause it will prob get draggy.
