Yeah, I know... I think many people focused on that aspect because they expected the drama to be more like a thriller,…
lol I hadn't seen the thriller tag. But yeah it's more like a melodrama

Title Nevertheless, Spoiler
I'm curious. What do you think is the worst j*rk action Jae Eon has done to Nabi? (remember to tag it as a spoiler…
Getting jealous, first when they still had nothing special going on, and that jerk freshman was flirting with Na-bi, then Jae-eon started to mention kisses and touched her like he owned her. Second, they even showed a scene where Jae-eon asks a random girl if she wants to see butterflies. The next day, he is at Do-hyuk's guest house talking about how much he missed Na-bi and kept only thinking of her, even getting jealous about Do-hyuk.

The writer should be fired with regard to Ja eon and Nabi. What a poorly written plotline! Ja eon is like a 7th…
If you're that annoyed about girls loving girls, maybe it's you who's hiding something in the closet?

Indeed all of them are, but maybe that's the point? Make us reflect on people's flaws irl?
I agree with you! Another wrong thing about the aunt is that she even told Jae-eon "oh so you're the reason why Na-bi came to my house" like........ It's none of her business, she shouldn't say anything about it, Na-bi didn't want Jae-eon to know that.

we all have flaws, we all make mistakes, and we all could be toxic at some point. but being like extremely annoying is something else

But every character in this show besides Sol is toxic, makes me question the writer
On Nevertheless, Aug 8, 2021
I don't care about how annoying Do Hyuk can get, he cooks and he drives, that's enough for him to be perfect for me. Come to me, baby.

Everyone is talking about how the mystery is predictable, but if you actually watch dramas just to turn off your brain and chill, it's not that predictable. Unless you want to think, then I guess it is predictable. But it's not like this one is a thriller, so why focus that much on the mystery?

I don't know if it's a personal problem, but I don't find Park Jae-eon irresistible at all. I can't see the chemistry, I will never be able to. I will never understand why people chase after him so much. It would be nice to kiss a hot guy once, but there's nothing more about him.

I realized that I couldn't feel the characters / story when I started to notice simple details that shouldn't really have the spotlight. Like how Na-bi hadn't brushed her teeth, or washed her face, or taken a shower, after having a cold and a sore throat the night before, and straight up had sex with Jae-eon just like that. Or how Kyu-hyun complains about everything. Or how they were making out on another person's table, in a house full of guests, where people have meals.

When this started, I was full of opinions about Jae-eon's toxicity, and Na-bi's needs of therapy, and the relationships. Because I had read the webtoon, and the webtoon had a clear story line, even if it was under Na-bi's POV, and Jae-eon was just mysterious, since we could only see what he showed to Na-bi, which was close to nothing. First, I was worried that they would follow the same story line and still make Na-bi date Jae-eon, doing the classic Korean drama "he changed for me in the last minute". But they changed great parts of the story. I wouldn't care if it was a good change, but the writer couldn't keep up with the story's direction. The writer doesn't know where she's going. She kept Jae-eon's toxicity, but she wants him to be not toxic at the same time, adding his POVs to the story, which makes the character really confusing. I think the writer wanted to show that maybe Jae-eon has a reason to be toxic, but she ended up making it seem like she is just scared of making the character toxic. Na-bi was already an expressionless confused depressed anxious paranoid girl in the webtoon, mainly because of her past story with her mother and her ex, but the writer made her even more unlikeable in the drama. In the webtoon, even when Na-bi made mistakes, we knew that she could blame her past for that. But the drama Na-bi makes annoying decisions that are not really well explained, so we can't help but think of her as annoying. In the webtoon, they showed Na-bi's thoughts, why she was doing what she was doing, why she thought that her actions were right, but in the drama, Na-bi just makes a decision and then changes it all of a sudden, without any explanation.

Either way, people shouldn't make out on other people's tables.

I hate all the characters, but I think being like that just means that the characters are human. Humans make mistakes. We judge them because we are rationally watching the story, but their interactions involve feelings, uncertainty, inexperience, youth.

They lost the magic of the Bit Na Kyu Hyun couple. Kyu Hyun is annoying af. I mean, I know that Bit Na sucks too. But he is ruining everyone else's vibe. He is always complaining about everything.

Ok, thanks. It's because I've heard people criticizing the acting, so I wasn't sure whether to start this one

"He denied going out" that's exactly what I said. Anyway, even if I don't agree with most parts of cancel culture, I don't think it's right to compare celebrities to normal jobs. Because it's not the same. Absolutely not. Now we could talk about why the whole industry sucks, and how the fans help it by treating grown ass men as "my babies <3 <3 <3 they are so innocent and pure", but that's too much for the present topic.
