I know, I'm not trying to put all the blame on SJK. It's mainly the production's fault. Since they wasted all that money on CGI, they could have dubbed Vincenzo's Italian. They could have shortened the story too. I felt the dark comedy though, like they wanted to say "our country is trash" in a comedic way

I couldn't feel the hype. Seemed like another makjang to me. Song Joong Ki's Italian was off-putting. I don't think everyone should know all of the languages of this world, mostly you just need your native language. But if you're playing an Italian person and earning A LOT of money for that (you all know how ridiculously much Korean actors earn, even more such a popular actor as Joong Ki, and on Netflix!!)... gurl, learn your Italian. Don't make it obvious that you're reading it.
The writer woke up one day, watched The Godfather, then watched Veteran, then Descendants of the Sun, and thought, oh, I should mix all of those.
