I shouldn't have responded to that initial comment in the first place for which now I'm sorry. I genuinely thought that they wrote on the wrong page, only to realize that I gave them the attention they don't deserve.

Exactly what I meant by table manners. Also Junho, being the younger one, turning his head away from the table as he's not worth of the seniors! If anyone in the comments is studying diplomacy, please take notes.

We could try and add these triggers in the series tags. I don't know how else we could warn people. For one, you can loose the spoiler tag so if someone reads your comment and decides not to watch it, it's a start.

They're slowly but steadily crawling under my skin. I love this series! And native Korean speakers, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the actor who plays Junho spent a lot of years in Thailand and his Korean sounds too cute for Seoul, when he said that he wants to kill Sun. I honestly giggled.

This series has been real from episode 1 and I absolutely LOVE IT! Unfortunately, that scene was needed to prove a point and that is, they're taking over what was theirs in the first place.

Ah, just ignore it as I should have done in the first place. Not worth the time and effort.

I was surprised, too. After all the testosterone, the ladies seems to get along just fine.

I said it last week, I'll say it again. It's the small details for me. That meeting was held in a Chinese restaurant but you could clearly see the Korean and Thai table manners presented in the most sophisticated way. How you drink in front of your seniors on the Korean side and on the Thai. It was a lecture in cultural differences and etiquette. Even in the fight scene at the beginning Sun was using Muay Thai fighting technique but Peace was all Taekwondo. Let me just be clear, there's a big difference between martial arts/combat sports on the ring and on the street. Nevertheless, it's the Korean-Thai collab I never knew I wanted or needed. It was perfectly executed!

But surely, I wasn't the only one who thought that Sun and Peace will hit it off in that bathroom... Such a missed opportunity. 😁 And that Moo Deng reference was just the bit of fun we needed.

No, because if you want to bash on a series, it will be a good idea to have the balls to do it on its own page. See what people will respond to your review.

I rewatched a couple of Sotus episodes to freshen up my memory and now this series feels like Tam disappeared on Phi to get a revenge for when he ghosted him in Sotus. 😁

That "sending him abroad" for me was just a bargain for Yo to agree to go to the village. His father used it as a leverage with the secret hope that he'll change and will not want to go later (no surprises here).

His parents didn't have all the background stories for his misbehaviours, but he also put himself in these situations in the first place. I'm sure there was a better way of handling an abusive teacher. That's why you have parents, Yo!

I'm all for fair treatment. There should be a balance between being your kid's buddy and his master, and so far, Jom's the only qualified adult. He might look strict/nagging with Yo and the three rascals but I think he's been fair.

Lol, as soon as I posted it, I saw your comment, too. I don't mean literally beating the crap out of him but this feather touch approach never works on teenagers, or it never worked on me.

The only benefit of the doubt I'll give the parents is that they wanted Yo to experience a more basic life where respecting elder people is just the norm. He's not that cocky with grandma, is he? 😁 Something we lost in Western societies a long time ago.
