You know, on the other team, there's this girl that probably has an air tag on my ass because whenever I go into the office, on vary rare occasions, she's constantly coming to me with BS like that, talking about other people I couldn't care less about. My only regret is that the office is in a high-rise building and the windows don't open so I can simply toss her out. 😁
I can relate so much to Jane, I love his character! A valuable lesson to be learned this episode. No matter how good you're at your job, people will never appreciate you, don't be fooled (especially in a corporate world), it might never be your time. Don't sacrifice yourself for other people and don't waste your time. Even loyal people like Jane have enough at some point.
Learn as much as possible, build a solid resume early in your career and just go for the job you want so that they cannot turn you down. There's this saying, some people live to work and those who work to live, your choice (in case you have one, of course). For once, Ryan was useful by encouraging Jane to pursue what he wants. Sometimes, we need just one person to nudge us in the ribs.
