Hmmm, I think money won't be it as he's been milking his son for years and knows exactly how to take them. I'm guessing blackmailing? She might have something on the father that's more powerful than money, otherwise I don't see him going anywhere. The preview for next episode, where Mut is beaten is actually a flashback as to how he got hurt this episode, so I don't see him doing anything more than just protecting Rak and Meena physically. So again, my fair bet is on the mother and what power she has as we don't really know much about her character or I missed it in the older episodes.

I just saw that Rak's mom is also on the casting list so I'm guessing in the end, she'll be the one to deal with the father.

Well, she looks like she's not the sharpest tool in the shed so I won't be surprised if her hatred is not coming from a deep place. 😁 We might get the answer next episode, though. In the preview, Rak is carrying an envelope with documents when meeting his father so they definitely want something.

I meant that Rak might be a character based on her (MAme) own experiences in real life. And as zppfp mentioned in the comment above, her characters always come with a trauma of sorts.

Giving who the writer is, I won't be thinking too much into it. In the beginning of the series I thought that Rak and her a siblings, just different moms, to be honest. My only adequate idea is that Rak's mom brought shame to their family with these guys on a pay roll.

I think he was checking what he's up against but I hope he'll man up a bit next episode and deal with the dad.

I've never watched a whole GL in my life, I tried to watch 23.5 but ditched it at ep. 2 Don't even remember they were in SCOY, which is one my favorite BLs to date and the only one I watched 3 times!
