In a close friends setting, new additions to the group are always treated as "intruders". But you can tell by Rak's face expression on the stairs, looking at both of them, that neither is going anywhere. It was actually a very heart warming scene. Not a few second ago he was his super cold and annoyed self and the next, he's all smiley and happy.

I think the problem with ep4 is not so much the annoying behavior of Mook but because the series vibe was cut through with a chain saw. From the warm, cozy beach scenery and their lovey-dovey bickering and interactions to Rak's cold Bangkok apartment, where they feel estranged.

I will never understand people's obsession with this type of interior, it always feel to me like a high-end hospital. Give me Joe's place anytime.

So now we're back to square one where they'll get to know each other and get closer to each other. And Rak acting this way is because he let his guard down on the beach but now back into his own "waters" it's all the way back up.

I can sense Ryu kicking his ass eventually from a mile away. 😁
