Did you say that out loud? π You know we'll get our asses whipped but I cannot agree more. It's a nice change and I welcome it! Quite excited to be honest. Watched episode 1, still don't know what's about but I'll get there looking at the list.
For some weird reason, I'm happy that non-BL directors are getting on BL series and bringing new perspective. I've watched a few pieces from both and my hopes went through the roof for this one.
I just dont get people hyping that series so much like sorry but its just another roncom BL comedy romantic by…
You don't have to get it, it's a matter of taste and preferences. I usually ignore comments like this but let me tell you. I hated the first episode and if you know me, you'll know I always appreciate good humor, camp and unhinged series. My problem was that I never expected to see a series from GMM touching these genres, call it whatever you want, it's never been their turf and requires a let's say, very selected audience to appreciate it.
But they did it! The one liners from Thee, the delivery from the cast, it just works. This is how comedy/unhinge/camp is supposed to be, if that was their intention to begin with. Aside from the pairs that have huge fandoms, which are usually active on X, not here, the actors are just doing an amazing job. That's all!
And no, GMM will never stop doing comedies/high school/college series because the local as well as international audience varies a lot in age so they need to deliver to all. It's business.
I saw Nisha suggested you The burnout syndrome, rightfully so, but GMM have also non-BL series that are over the top production/script/plot wise that might surprise you if you watch any of them. They got a lot of awards for these... Anyway, that's what I wanted to say. You don't have to agree.
MDL fashion police on duty once again! Hey, that full elephant fit was made for Mok! He could have run Bangkok Fashion Week with it! But speaking of outfits, Thee's last one, a piece of fashion art. All black, elegant, tailored to every cell of Pond's body, a masterpiece!
Based on Mok sitting outside the homestay making that little bracelet, Iβm pretty sure thatβs gonna be a birthday…
From tf did I watch in ep1 and not willing to even comment here to absolutely love it already! They put me on a roller coaster. I'm glad I was stubborn enough with this series. GMM likes to keep its bangers for the end of the year and we're once again here.
But the stylist for the cafe photoshoot said hold my beer with that peach colored cardigan! He felt so out out place, LOL but looking like an absolute sweetheart! π
On a serious note, the last scene when Thee showed up, the camera work was epic! I think this is my favorite scene so far! Spot on execution from Pond and Phuwin!
