I said it after ep1 or 2 but I appreciate the modern bits as there's no way you can explain a homosexual relationship set in this era. They'll be hiding in the closet for 12 episodes. You might not like it but I do.

But SEA countries, in modern days, often blame the colonization without mentioning that without these invasions, they would still be agricultural countries, whereas now it's a completely different situation.

You can add South Korea and Japan to that.
