the directors did not include the BL part due to the ongoing challenge of ensuring commercial success. this is not a valid point because so many BL's have been successful. Take Semantic Error for example. The merch for SE was always sold out and they won many awards, including prestigious ones. The show still have a loyal fanbase and the ratings are still high. Also just recently, Jaechan was interviewed by someone who then brought up his and Seohams work in semantic error and praised them for it. It baffles me on how they adapted a queer work but then omitted the queer love story. I must admit i did give in and watched the two episodes released (instead of studying lolol) and i did really enjoy it. Just confused on why they would erase the queer love story. They are so many novels out there but they chose this specific one then just had to remove the bl element

its more that this precedent is worrying. if they can do an adaption from a bl novel but then remove the queer love story once, it can be done again. If this series becomes successful it could set a precedent of future BL works to be censored to appeal to the mainstream by removing the crucial element of BL.

no i knew he was a criminal before this show was even announced. and its a huge shame that this guy is still active in the industry in which he should have been cut from long ago. if they can cut people who have done drugs from the industry why cant they cut him from it too? also choosing a specifically QUEER WORK then omitting the queer love story because they are worried about commercial success is stupid. also im not hating. like ive said i will watch this but its just confusing that they draw the line at the queer love story but then cast this criminal.

The removing bl part makes me confused and I completely understand why people are upset over it. worrying about commercial success when Semantic Error and TMS really hit off and both shows have many loyal fans. Even semantic error was winning awards left and right, including the prestigious ones.

watching this on viki, this time with comments on and the amount of inappropriate remarks made against some of the characters are disrespectful . people being highly homophobic towards the character Green, saying "feminine men give me the ick" and other comments complaining that everyone in the show is too gay. one even said sarawat is too good looking to be gay. im sorry but huh? gay men cant be good looking or good looking men cant be gay? disgusting. maybe im overeacting but like

i get what you mean, but it’s sad to see people bash someone for their acting. who knows maybe his acting has improved since his last role (i think it was hidden agenda?) and maybe took some more classes. regarding the partner problem, i don’t agree (RESPECTFULLY 🫶🏽) i think it’s just in terms of acting. but who knows maybe JD (mostly Dunk) will surprise us in this series. 🤭 sorry if my grammar is off english isn’t my first language (almost getting better)

i love FK and i love JD so i’m absolutely seating this. sad to see people already talking about dunks acting but this is a new change for him maybe he’ll do better with this kind of concept. i see it the same way with Cha Eun Woo he suits the more darker concepts instead of fluff

the editing was quite weird but that’s the editors fault. THE ACTORS THOUGH. gosh they were so amazing and deserve nothing but recognition for their hard work in this series.

watching this drama during exam season is not a great idea because while studying im yearning for more XD anyways i am totally ready to defend this show. imo one of the best bl's released this year so far and i totally think this is going to my all time fave.
