also is it really having only six episodes??? i heard somewhere that was eight episodes… this already has no sense at all and if it finishes next week it’s gonna be worse (or not, idk what to say about this series anymore)
episode 10 is my favorite so far… not only because of the beautiful romance scenes (they were so wonderfully executed) but because of the way they attempted to portray how difficult romance is for people with disabilities. it gave me A LOT to think. when WYW said that people with disabilities have the right to love a bad guy too, that hit so damn hard 🥺 this drama is really well written
Hmm. I feel like you're describing a better plot than this (you should write these). I predict they obviously…
I already stopped focusing too much on dramas/movies/books endings because it can screw all the experience because of a few scenes. So yeah, I also think they’ll make a difference and it’ll have a happy ending but it also makes me wonder if that’s really effective for society at all. Maybe I’m more focused on this plot than I should be? Considering is a thai bl and they don’t usually go that deep?! Hahaha Oh and thanks for the reply!
i think what’s the most amazing about not me is the very very well done social critics. nuchy wrote it so well that even dan betraying all of them we still know his reasons and can’t just put him crucified because after all, that’s how society works… and it’s not a gang of boys trying to make justice with their own hands because the justice system is unfair that things will change overnight. even with the protests and stuff, it’s still hard. todd even said: you take one of the power and there’ll be another.
and it hurts knowing this because usually, these medias about social criticism does it in a dystopic world (ex. hunger games, divergent,…), so even though it’s hard, they can still achieve their goals because it’s in a future where this is possible. but this series is in the present, so how are the odds that we could take not just a person from power, but take down a whole damn system made only for the rich to keep being rich????? and this is one of the things i like most about this series because it’s so real. and i can’t even predict how the ending will be.
still 10/10 for me even without knowing how it goes. just amazing.
Same here. Joohee is seen as the "main" lead, but honestly it felt like Yeo Jin had more screentime (?) and had…
Yes! I’m looking forward to Jung Chayeon too because I really like her. I just got a little disappointed when it was announced that she’s gonna play juhee… I wanted to see her as Yeojin because it’d be a really different character for her. BUT i also like Yeonwoo a lot, even though I’m not really sure about her acting skills (she was good in Dali and Cocky Prince tho). Anyways, just hope they do a good job with the adaptation because I really love the webtoon.
