yeah… that’s it! it’s really hard for me the to accept the fact this softporn drama is WAY MORE successful than my only 12%. but, yeah, this one is fetishized and the other is a story that actually resonates to lgbtqiap+ people. it’s sad because i enjoy some BLs but it’s so hard to put up with most of the fandom

since english is not my first language, it can be hard for me to explain, but it’s basically this: the same way men have fetish about two women kissing (for example: 99% of people who watches lesbian pornography are men), women also have fetish about two boys kissing and even doing other things. idk the historical stuff behind this but that’s how it is. and the bl industry takes advantage of this fact. women in general are the people who most watch tv shows, and women are the target audience. bls are not made for gay boys to identify and see themselves being represented, they are made for women to enjoy seeing boys kissing and stuff. that is also why thailand earns A LOT of money with this industry while most fans and actors don’t give a f**k about lgbtqiap+ rights and even thailand itself doesn’t even recognize same sex marriage. okay but of course not all female bl fans watches for fetish! because it is a story and has a meaning so you’re watching for a lot of reasons, example: the story is well made, acting is good, couple has chemistry, lgbtqiap+ representation, etc… but when facing a drama like this one: it doesn’t even have a proper plot, therefore what is the reason to watch it??? the industry knows they can put beautiful boys to do nothing but kiss each other and they’ll still earn money because a lot of people will watch it anyway.
i tried so hard to enjoy but 4 episodes without a decent plot, only softporn and a messed up relationship….…

there are so many different things hahaha a few of them: taeyong’s dad is a good person; he has no wife; this uncle doesn’t even exist; the chances for using the golden spoon is actually 3 days, 3 years and 30 years (if I’m not mistaken, i just remember all three times had a three in it haha); the webtoon starts with them really young, like 12 years old; taeyong is really really sweet and a good person; the one juhee actually likes is taeyong, not seungcheon; taeyong and seungcheon are best friends since childhood… these are the ones i remember but there are a lot more for sure! i don’t even bother wondering what’s going to happen next because it is already soooooo different

sorry for the late reply. in the webtoon the couples are seungcheon with yeojin and taeyong with juhee, but the drama is taking another path… it’s gonna be seungcheon with juhee so I can’t really say we’re having another :/
