I just finished episode 3, so a few of your words were little spoilers for me, but I had the exact same thoughts as you when I was watching those confusing scenes between the two in the present and in the past, which don’t really fit together. There’s only the uncut version on iQIYI I think? Just see if the first episode is about 1 hour and 17 minutes long , then it’s definitely the uncut version.
