what about it is ridiculous? he was only 16 and the other guy was 22. that's 6 years. when one person is 26 and the other 32 it isn't a problem, but a teenager is vastly different from a 22-year-old.
I wish Mieko saw more worth in herself. I didn’t like episode 6. It was chilling to the core. A seemingly lifeless…
yeah, it really doesn't make sense to me. it's a little frustrating, because I feel like they don't properly talk things through and express what they're thinking and feeling. do the guys actually even want a kid? and do they want one now? they're still so young, especially makio.
and mieko's self-esteem really is incredibly low. she doesn't seem to see any worth in herself if it isn't to help others. she values her friendship with makio and eiji more than she values herself.
buuuut, with all that said, I still appreciate this series the way it is. I don't agree with a lot of the characters' actions and decisions, just like eiji going after makio when the age gap was too big for a high schooler to have with his boyfriend. the thing is that it feels quite real and human. people make mistakes, they do stupid shit, they don't make all the right choices... so I really like the vibe of the series, since I feel like I get really involved with the characters and I really care about them. I love how the series explores the relationships between them and how delicate the portrayal of the story is. idk how to explain, but it just makes me feel things.
I've just realized this is already over! I thought there would be more episodes (┬┬﹏┬┬) It's way too short, but it's so good! I just wish good GLs like this would be produced in larger scale and have enough time to develop the story. When will we have half as many GL productions as we have BL?
