I have never encountered such a frustrating female protagonist like in this drama.
The male lead, perfectly written...no surprise; they always are.
But this female, not even the last 20 minutes could redeem her.
I hate when writers write female characters so pathetically.
On her wait, all I could think about was, "is she Penelope?"
This is no Odyssey. And the abuser broke up with her?!!! I was fuming!
They couldn't let her character even have that?! Couldn't she leave the asshole?
There is even more that I hated about this drama, but my point is:
No, I don't recommend this drama.
"Old century women" aka: women can't be their own agent, they need men to play house with.
Even though Hyun Myung is the male lead, with only two episodes left it wouldn't make sense for Hani to suddenly…
I agree 100%. There's no way she'll begin to fall for HM to say be in love so fast. It has to end with SK or none at all...? I don't know what set up they have to complete the story line with 2 episodes remaining.
This guy is good looking, now doubt.
He can easily play comedic roles, well.
However, to date his best performance has been in City Hunter.
He has the potential to be a diverse actor especially in the drama/ psychological/ crime genres. I hope his new film shows that and with dramas, he starts choosing more adult level than high school related again.
Prayer circle that Park Shin Hye's role in this drama woudn't be another damsel in distress that keeps on crying…
I agree with you and her seriously bad choices in roles. I want to see her branch out and play a more complex character but it seems either she or her agent keep choosing these crappy roles that would rather sell her face than at a chance to be diverse for once and improve her acting than keep portraying another female that needs a man to save her and/or complete her.
