I really don't know but I think it is not a rumor we will wait and see if it is really happening it will be reveled soon since History 4 : close to you have ended
SPOILERS: WILL CONTAIN THINGS THAT MAY SPOIL SEASON 2 IF IT WAS CORRECT. I have read in some places that the story was not finished in the 1st season and that after the accident Ting thought that Gu died because Ting and Gu 's families both said that to Ting so he could live like how his family wanted and Gu's family (aunt) did not want him to be with a man and Gu after his accident he lost part of his memory, so I think season 2 will contain how they met again and how they are going to complete their lives. Especially, after what we saw in the Japanese BL Life: love on the line, otherwise known as Senjou no bokura, the scene in the last ep last 5 minute we saw them for like 30 seconds happily together so I think this was after they met again. This is just my opinion and from the things that i have read online, I wish this these are true so could finally have happy ending for this couple because this is one of my favorite BLs as it has a really special and unique storyline.

I agree with you but let see what is going to happen I think the production team and the director will try their best to not let it get dragged, for me this season was good the only episode that annoyed me was the 5th one especially after the extra scene they removed like it was really important for them to put and I did not understand why they did this.
The final episode was good and cute, but I still think that the conflicts in this season were solved too fast…
I think season 3 is going to be about how they manage to stay together through Shu Yi family and company issue and will have more about Shou Yi and Xuan since it does not make sense what happened for them to be together and I think it will include the wedding of Wei and Yu and maybe Shi De and Shu Yi wedding .
