Immediately believing accusations like that is so lopsided. Bullying is serious and should be taken serious, which…
it’s completely fine to not believe anyone at this point and stay neutral. i’m talking about the people who are so quick to believe she’s innocent just because of her innocent image or because they’re a fan. and you do not get to decide whether her being held accountable is productive or not. if it brings the victims peace and justice, then yes it is productive

I dislike bullies immensely, BUT as someone who was bullied mercilessly in Intermediate School, I think it is…
i am not bullying anyone lmao.. if someone does something wrong they should be held accountable. yes it happened years ago but the victims are still living with trauma. people who are defending her behaviour by using the “it was years ago she was just a child” excuse don’t have any consideration for the victims. i’m sorry you were bullied, and i hope you’re doing okay now. but i would like to believe we all have the ability to see from others’ perspectives. and when i see from the victims’ perspectives, i see people that were traumatised, watching the person that caused them harm living a successful happy life without acknowledging their past. in this case, i believe they should be held accountable because her victims are still obviously dealing with the repercussions that she caused

honestly some of these comments are just weird.

-there are multiple reasons why a victim waits years to speak up, e.g. they were too scared at the time of no one believing them and making it into something even worse. just because they left it years does not make their allegations any less valid than if they spoke up when it first happened. and, even if they did speak up at the time most of you still wouldn’t believe them. the justice system is corrupt, it’s easy to tell someone to go to the police, but a lot of the time victims are humiliated and laughed at.
- bullying is serious. there is a whole spectrum of bullying, it’s not just making “jokes” at someone or spreading rumours. esp in asian countries, bullying can be brutal and is extremely common in schools where teachers don’t do anything
-some of you take “innocent until proven guilty” too literally. when someone comes out accusing someone of something serious, with or without proof, trust them. it’s better to believe a liar than a perpetrator
-yes you don’t know the alleged victims and don’t know if they’re telling the truth or not, but you also do not know park hye soo. being a fan does not mean you should dismiss your morals. you are a fan. know your boundaries
-yes people change. she may be a completely different person now. or she may not. we do not know. but just because someone has changed does not mean they get to not be held accountable for their past actions. actions have consequences. and even if it’s years later, they should still be held accountable. i do not care how old she was or how long ago it was, if people are still traumatised because of her she is responsible

there are lots more i could touch on but that’s it for now. some of you won’t believe victims’ accusations yet will be quick to believe a generic statement by the agency denying everything

she is just paying for what she did. she doesn’t deserve to have a better life than the victim..
a victim that is too scared to speak up at the time because they were young and afraid. a victim living in a society run by a corrupt justice system that serves no justice and will not take them seriously. there are many reasons why a victim may speak up years later. and unless you’ve been in a similar situation (which i really hope you never will be), you may never understand

she is just paying for what she did. she doesn’t deserve to have a better life than the victim..
but that makes it worse lmao. the fact that she’s famous and successful and living a life without caring about what she’s done and the trauma she’s caused... the victims have every right to speak up. i’m not sure if you’re aware of what she did but she made her victims bleed... and the fact that she’s supposed to be starring in a drama that tackles anti bullying is going to trigger the victims. bullying (esp in asian countries) can be brutal

Person Park Hye Soo
but there’s been bullying accusations against her for years even before she was famous her agency just keeps…
i’m pretty sure most people who speak up about these situations would say who did it. seeing the person who caused you trauma being successful, living their lives happily like nothing happened not to mention starring in a drama that tackles anti bullying (ironically), they have every right to tell the world what they’ve done. the whole point of justice is the perpetrator being held accountable and that cannot happen if we don’t know who that person is. whatever the case is, whether these victims are lying or not, hyesu needs to make a statement because if even she isn’t defending herself why should anyone else?

Why are people so hurt? If your mom was a bully in the past, would you destroy the contact with her? Bye, stop…
but there’s been bullying accusations against her for years even before she was famous her agency just keeps deleting them lmao

I do not support any type of bullying and I strongly agree that the person should be penalized in any way possible,…
there’s been bullying accusations about her for years that her agency keeps deleting so it’s not all of a sudden. plus the reason why so many people are speaking up now about celebs being bullies is because naver is taking down their real time search. there’s a whole thread explaining it on twitter. not saying that every accusation is true, but just explaining what’s happening.

is this going to be pushed back now that dear m is postponed?

I don't care how many alleged victims come out of the woodworks. Without concrete proof, no one should be passing…
and how exactly would victims from years ago get proof of her physically assaulting them? she’s had accusations for years and her agency deletes them all... which is very sus. i am trying to remain neutral about the situation as i’m a fan of her acting but the fact that she hasn’t spoken up isn’t looking good for her. there’s also no concrete proof that these victims are fake so maybe you should be the one to stop passing judgement
lo_ve Feb 24, 2021
if this is true though i genuinely hope the victims are okay now. they’ve probably had to live with this trauma for years and have been too scared to speak up. i understand people are upset that the drama isn’t airing but please be considerate of the victims. yes they could just be baseless rumours but so far it seems true considering quite a few people have accused hyesu. i’m sad this drama isn’t airing and i’m said for all the cast crew and staff who worked hard on it but i’m more sad for the potential victims
