why are the saddest dramas/movies always set in the past if i ever see anything set in the 80s/90s i’m leaving idc anymore idk how many more heartbreaks i can take
Hmm... I feel like this might happen later on:Just as Hae Yi gets more involved in the Cheer Team and enjoying…
i really hope they aren’t just using her being poor for something as mediocre as this - i know this isn’t that serious but realistically you don’t just ✨stop✨ being poor and honestly i don’t really understand the problem with joining for money anyway. hoping it doesn’t turn out like this
Literally took the words out of my mouth...Like it's so freaking stupid and dumb they seat there reciting a list…
if people have a problem with her voice so much simply don’t watch it or turn it down. esther always gets hate for her voice like it’s something she can control?? people will always find something to comment on about women. if her voice was deep they’d complain saying she’s not feminine enough. i understand there are people sensitive to sounds at high frequencies and genuinely can’t listen to high pitched sounds and that’s fine but when it’s just people straight up insulting her for her voice it’s pathetic. it’s literally her voice get over it and move on trust me there are better things to be doing that writing dumb sexist comments about a female character/actress’s voice

i’d love to see these same people comment about a man’s voice or his strength and personality when it’s completely uncalled for. these people just hate women period cos god forbid a woman ever have a high pitched voice or be cute. we must all be absolutely perfect whilst men get away with being abusive, cold and hateful all the time in shows and movies (and irl too but that’s for another time)
Phew 😅 someone finally said it properly . I understand that peoples' opinions are different but there is a…
when the female lead is getting more hate for being cute, kindhearted, physically weak and for having an “annoying voice” than the male lead who’s literally a VILLAIN and KILLS PEOPLE, you know society is fucked
fed up of this hate train for the female lead. you people want a perfect character with no flaws who always makes the right decisions despite being young and naive to most of the world. why is it ONLY the female lead getting hated on? apparently she’s not allowed to make any mistakes nor be weak in strength or act cute because apparently they’re all bad things for women. of course a strong independent woman is great to see but who says she’s not strong willed and independent? she’s literally been alone for all this time and has managed to do mostly everything herself, stand up for herself and save people (who literally bullied her) from danger. how are these not traits of a strong woman? oh yes i know, because she acts cute, pure and is weak physically she’s obviously a weak useless character right? a woman being physically weak and acting cute isn’t a flaw and if you think it is then you’re perpetuating the very same sexist ideology that you think you’re speaking up against
This is 2022, why do we still have these silly, whiny , damsel in distress, childish, helpless female lead characters???…
for the last time WHY do people equate weak female leads as a bad thing?? you say nothing about marketing women as being weak is fun because you see it as a bad thing. people don’t talk about men’s strengths/personalities like this so why do you do it with women? portraying a woman as weak seems sexist and stereotypical but commenting on a female character being “weak” as if it’s a bad thing is also sexist. being weak in strength doesn’t equate to being dumb or stupid. if you want to watch a drama with a badass strong woman then go watch one of the many dramas you’ve listed
not to mention she’s literally a fucking FAIRY
