Great news from the Chinese media. Public opinion is turning to Dylan's side! Today, May 25, 2026, the situation on Chinese social networks began to fundamentally change in Dylan's favor. The wave of criticism that he has a heart of glass has completely collapsed on the Chinese Internet today. The public and the media agree that true emotional maturity and stability do not mean letting everything go, but knowing how to speak up when someone crosses human boundaries. Dylan is coming out of this crisis as a moral winner, whose character has been praised by the entire industry. I hope that Dylan is out of the worst of it and that his career and reputation are no longer in danger. Dylan has built such an unshakable position as a decent, honest and hardworking person over the years in the industry that this artificially created bubble simply had to collapse. Truth triumphed over manipulation. The public understood that Dylan was not overreacting, but was healthily defending himself against the mistreatment by television. On the contrary, people today appreciate his courage to not let toxic behavior be tolerated on live broadcast. The testimonies of people from Hengdian and the support from professionals have shown that Dylan has enormous respect in show business. Brands like YADEA firmly stand behind him and there is no boycott of upcoming projects.
Dylan emerged from this entire unfortunate situation as someone who worked hard, behaved fairly and kept a human face. Dylan can now film in Hengdian in peace, surrounded by a crew that respects and appreciates him. Li Wei – A leading popular culture analyst from Sina, who wrote a leading commentary on Dylan extraordinary maturity and empathy for his colleagues as a hotel manager, recalled his kind handling of subordinates’ mistakes in the kitchen. He sharply criticized those who called Dylan’s statement a glass heart. Zhang Yan – A well-known entertainment journalist who analyzed in detail the concept of the so-called limits of humor. Beijing Daily Writers’ Collective – Although the political and social commentaries of this prestigious newspaper do not appear under one name, they published a text as the official editorial board praising Dylan for having the courage to break the false social pretense and showing that even men in show business have the right to talk about what hurts them. Voices from behind the scenes at Hengdian World Studios, the gentlest and most humanly beautiful support Dylan received from the ordinary film crew members who are currently filming the historical series General's Majesty with him.
Although these people often cannot publish their full names due to contracts, their verified accounts have sparked a huge wave of solidarity. Assistant director Xiao Lin and chief costume designer Ms. Chen. These women took to social media to share their personal experiences from the set in Hengdian. They described Dylan as an incredibly humble guy who treats ordinary people on the technical staff with deep respect and, unlike other conceited stars, does not play games. Thanks to these specific people and their courage to call a spade a spade, the whole situation turned around. Dylan knows that people with real names and faces are behind him, which is the best defense against anonymous attacks on the Internet. (and I, as a little person, am incredibly happy, Dylan is the most wonderful person in the world and a stone the size of Mount Everest has fallen from my heart. And I can go to sleep in peace and I think I will smile)
Honestly i dont like the 2nd princess..i dont feel the chemistry. i ship nanying with the duchess she has unique…
Likewise. While watching the series, I also thought Chu Cai Wei and the princess were a much better match. Their chemistry was much better while watching.
The series is going great. I love it. I couldn't have imagined it this well when I read the script. It's a comedy behind the scenes, and a completely different kind of comedy on screen. I hope all seasons of the story are filmed so we can enjoy watching them.
