it's still can't be answered, i don't know what will happen in the next 2 episodes, but i would say that i have a hope, unlike when i was watching 2521, i wouldn't dare hoping for the last 2 episodes ;_;

Coming from someone who have a stepmom, i understand her viewpoint. At that age, seeing your dad meeting with other woman, that is not your mom, is a a strange, odd sight, and to accept dad's gf to be her mom needs a lot of effort from the gf and the dad to continuously communicate with the daughter. Even both the dad and his gf make the effort, there are no guarantee that the daughter will accept her. The daughter can feel if she like her or not, is she willing to accept her or not. It's a hard process

me too. i thought a second that maybe what happened in sanpo was all his dream or delusion. thankfully it wasn't after the rewind

When Mr. Gu and Mijeong meet each other again. i thought to myself. "How does Mijeong look so composed when she finally sees Mr. Gu, after years of being apart? If i were her i probably would just run and hug him, or even cry". I keep thinking, then this thought popped up in my head:

Well, after Mr. Gu left Sanpo, she missed him, definitely, and at some moment, she wished him to just come to her. She missed him, ofcourse, but she also knows that Mr. Gu doesn't owe her anything. As she keeps on waiting, time went by, she just kept on living as she does before. She probably prepared herself to be ready, as if she knows that Mr. Gu will go back to find her eventually, so she always prepares herself to be ready if anytime he comes back.

The gifted kid academy head (the woman who insisted to kick Dongseok out of the academy) person is Ko Yurim's mom in Twenty Five Twenty One right? I noticed that her name is still not on the cast list, but i don't know how to edit the page (or can't i?) ._.
