Try to watch it with open mind and do not compare.
Most of the time we like the first version we watched.
For me it was the Korean with LMH and could never finish the Japanese.
Same with the Meteor Garden .
Never could pass the. 3 episode .

First watched it when was on in 2013( back on Viki when it was free and no ands/ miss those times) and I rewatch it again.
None of the current ongoing dramas hold my interest like this one . I completed in two days!

I adore Yoo Ahn In as an actor.
To me his personal life and choices as long as not harming others has nothing to do with his professional.
I hope I can enjoy again his acting.
He is missed.

I m out of topic here but BY is perfect in “Misaeng “ nothing tops his performance there ( at least for me)

Yoo Yeon Seok was always in good dramas with very interesting stories.
I m not surprised that the drama he is in is doing well.
