I'm guessing woo ri's mom is mean hospital lady, who was forced to give him up, and leave her true love, by her…
I think So Young def. have some kind of memory lost. She rmbs her child’s name, but can’t recognize her, or else it doesn’t make sense, like how can you not recognize your kid even with the name change? The writer might as well have her memory lost. And I would hope Suji knows her mother’s name, lol, crying out loud.
Why i fell jin Soo ji is chae U ri's mother give up daughter. 😂 What will it be a relationships between son…
She is! However, if you watch ep. 6, she didn’t give up on her daughter. She actually has full custody of the child. She left her behind in the care of her ex-husband’s family until she can stand on her feet! I don’t think that’s of any wrong. It was her in-law decided to move her child away from her. And not to mention, they even changed her daughter’s name. And if it wasn’t for that accident that she went through, plus she was in coma for over 3 months, she would got her child. So it was her in-law who forced the whole thing. Yes, she could’ve took her daughter with her, but why make a child suffer, right? What I don’t get how come either of them recognize each other. Suji had been 6 years old, and she don’t rmb what her mother look like? And for the mother, how can you not recognize your own kid? Unless she does have some kind of memory lost, like she only rmb the name not the child, that I will understand. Anyways, we have to watch for the reason.
Do you guys think Woo ri’s mother Seo Young remembers her past? Can anyone make sense of why she refuses to do the TV program? Her partner said something, then she avoid the conversation.
Oh wow the ML mom is the only parent with a main role. Based on what I saw in the first 2 episodes her story is…
Yes, her story will tie with many characters due to her accident 27 years ago. I am even thinking Mi ra’s ex-boyfriend is somehow involved. Mi Ran’s father has something to do with everything. This is just all my guesses.
From the recent trailer, it seems that Oh Seon Young, the male lead's adoptive mother, will turn out to be the…
It was obvious even before the preview. But Soo Ji thinks her mom abandoned her. And Uri, the ML is the lost son of Han Jin Tae’s wife, Ma ri? Forgot her name.
Calling a woman an idiot, without understanding her struggles and the distinct lack of empathy is clearly being…
I agree with @Calicomoon. You can't just call someone an idiot without true meaning her decision! You need to clarify what do you mean by she's idiot. As far as I see it, Dr. Cha did her best, but her surroundings kept limiting her. Dr. Cha has lived for herself since her liver surgery. She never failed to empower herself. And in the end when she choose herself, that's the best decision any one would make if they're in her shoes! She's empowering so many oppressed real life women.
Ouch, that hurts. Can you elaborate what you’re trying to say? Like, do you mean she acts really dumb or she…
Thank you for the clarification! Female characters not able to do their work well is in almost all dramas. They are only being manifest as book smart, rarely will they show they're work smart. look at Romantic Doc for example. I mean in both seasons the female lead are smart, capable, but their personal setback didn't allow them to fully pursue their career. Korean dramas, written by female writers, always surprises me with incompetent female leads. It still shocks me to the core.
This was my first exposure to Kdrama. I had seen a few of Uhm Jung Hwa's movies and decided to take the plunge.…
You wanna hear something really interesting. The writer of this drama, Ha Chung-Ok, wanted Uhm Jung Hwa to star in her dramas. So she tried really hard to convince her. Uhm was actually offered the lead role in her two previous projects, but due to her busy schedules, at the times, they declined both. And the writer received a lot of criticism for doing Uhm Jung Hwa like that, after getting her on board, but wrote her trashing character. I can’t decide if I want to watch this drama. How bad is she in the drama?
I do not understand why people are so upset that Doctor Cha didn’t end up with Doctor Roy. I totally get it! They won’t be supposed to end up together. There was absolutely no chemistry between them. It is unrequited love (from Roy). Doctor Cha ONLY cared for him like a younger brother! And the story is more about Doctor Cha finding her independence (as a doctor), and living her life to the fullest. These characters don’t always need to end up with anyone.
Another thing, I believe Doctor Roy’s character is ABSOLUTELY necessary. Roy gives her the courage to start her career again! While she gives him the courage to find his parents. So I thought these two characters were well done!
I had recently noticed that uhm jung hwa had another very old drama 2004 "tropical nights in december" where she…
Hmm, I am not sure if I completely agree with you! I also watched the December Fever (alternative title). I wanted to point out the same thing weeks ago. While the base storylines are quite similar to each other. The husband cheats, husband’s family belittling the FLs; however, in DF she literally falls for the young guy, and wants a divorce. But here, she DOES want a divorce, can you not tell she’s trying to get IH to agree with the divorce? It is her husband that’s not cooperating with her. ALSO, the biggest difference between DocCha and DF is that there’s no proof of Doctor Ray and Cha are romantically involved with each other. So I think these two dramas are quite different. And the baseline of husband belittling his wife, and in law bullying FL, later regrets it and want her back, it is in almost ALL Korean morning dramas. That base line never gets old, haha.
Here is what I think Doctor Roy probably sees Cha as motherly figure — warm, kind, and sympathetic. While Doctor Cha is just down to to earth, and good nature. I am not so sure I see them as romantically involve because it will never work out, I think. They’re seeking different things from each other. Actually, I don’t even think Doctor Cha sees Roy anymore than a friend, she said it at the police station.
I am going to say I had to take another look at In Ho. Yes, he is a donkey and this does not justify his actions…
Haha, you probably be the only person who thinks fondly of him, I like it! I also think he’s starting to “actually” falling in love with Jung Suk, that’s why Korean has this phrase, “있을 때 잘 해야 돼요“And it means, he should’ve been good to her when she was around. I believe everyone deserves second chance; however not in this case, simply because he only changed when she caught him cheating.
I started to watch Saturday May 20, 2023. I am currently on ep 11. And during the previous episodes I pray and…
You know, I was thinking of the same thing. I have a feeling Cha and Kim might be siblings, or at least half. I have no idea where I am getting the gut feelings.
