After watching ep 22, it seems like he was the one who saved Luo Yan after he lost memory from the fight with a thief gang. And he finally turned better nearing the end as he finally realized that he is wrong.

Dont think so, his role seems like the antagonist who caused Luo Yan to lose his memory in High School. He is jealous of Luo Yan so he kept getting close to Fang Li. I dont think he likes the FL at all.
