After episodes 21 and 22, I feel like the empress is the mastermind. It seems like she didn't want Chu to replace her son's 'Crown Prince' title; therefore, she's trying to eliminate the rivalry for the crown prince position.

I don't mind the romance; in fact, I appreciate this slow-burn development. She hails from the modern world, making it unlikely for her to easily fall in love with anyone. Many contemporary women don't easily succumb to the charm of handsome men; they prefer getting to know someone personally before entering a romatic relationship. She isn't inclined towards lusting after handsome men. Moreover, her desire to return to her world prevents her from wanting to form any romantic attachments in this ancient setting. However, in the last couple of episodes, I can see that she is starting to develop feelings for Chu.

If I were in her shoes, safety would be my number one priority. I wouldn't want to entangle with anyone.

I think they got licensed. Last year, there was a promo of this drama; but it didn't air.

The drama list Wang Chu Ran as An Jin (FL) and Li Hong Yi as Chu Dingjiang (ML); they are probably the leads of this drama.

As I mentioned earlier, Deng Lun and Fan Bingbing never recovered from their tax evasion issues. They are still banned by the government. Fan Bingbing received a longer ban compared to Deng Lun and Yuan Bingyan. Those who managed to evade punishment probably didn't involve themselves in large sums of money.

She's not the only Chinese actor who got banned for tax evasion; Deng Lun, Fan Bingbing, and Song Zu Er (potentially) were also banned for tax evasion. The production team has to replace Yuan Bingyan in order for the drama to be aired. We have to consider other actors hard working on this drama. Maybe in a couple of years, she might be able to come back.

I don't know if I like this or not. She already got hate from Yuan Bingyan's fans. I don't want Bingyan's fans to down grade the rating of the drama once it airs.

Looking at Hu YiXuan's Wiki Addit page, in 2024 she will be replacing the female in Love Never Fails and be in the drama "Feng Hua Qi You Lu " but as supporting role. I'm sadden that she doesn't get many female roles lately. Hopefully she'll get more offers to come.

Do you have the song played on ep 18, where Qing got poisoned and Chu suckered the poison out. The song played couple of times in the drama. This is a beautiful song and the meaning relates to their love story.
