As an actor, sometimes you have to play second lead and it's ok. The director probably feels Xing Fei fit s this character more. Maybe she took this role cause she wants to challenge herself. Liang Jie is a good actress too. It's not like she's nobody. You may not like Liang Jie, but She has some hit dramas too.

When they filmed seasons 1 &2 Liang jie was engaged to a Tibetan's singer. Now Liang Jie is single again. They could be best friends since they are comfortable working with each other. I don't ship entertainers so i don't ship them. However, I wish they do a drama together once every 2 to 3 years together. I heard that Chinese is remaking My Girl. The leads are Xing Zhaolin and Xe Fei. i wish it was Liang Jie and Xing Zhaolin
