Agree, at this point I don't care even if XL didn't get the girl but I don't think XY deserves TSJ at all, he's too weak to do anything. I don't like Jing's weak and boring character at all. He was better when he was only 17 wt the beginning. Everyone else in the show is strong in their own way and has a role in the bigger power issues and it's glaring when Jing can't even oppose his own little family , heck he don't even want to do anything towards a man who were trying to kill him, no backbone 😑

If you like CX I heard S2 is mostly about his arc to rise for power, so you can stay for him

As you move deeper into the story XL will be the only one selflessly loving XY even knowing he won't get her because of his duties and their positions. Their love is forbidden. XL is only one XY got attracted sexually and deeply, it made her afraid of the natural attraction that comes up, but because he didn't confess, she doesn't pursue her feelings.

TJC shines as XL. I'm sure he's the most breakout star of this drama in China. ZWY is also good. The other two mls acting are mediocre.

You know what, at this point I don't care anymore if XL can't get XY, he's for us audience. XY can go and have her boring married life with Jing, and good luck trying to take care of a weak man who depend on you to live and have family issues. Red flags everywhere girls.

What's unbearable for S2 is the grim ending for XL where he will selflessly hiding his love for XY while doing all that he can to protect both XY and her lover Jing, while at the same time getting his heart ripped into pieces, but for her, he's willing to sacrifice his life 😭😭 and I can't bear the moment where he will be cruelly sacrificed by the author 😭😭, while on the other hand XY and Jing are living happily ever after. The earlier parallel scene of XL fighting alone while XY and Jing are having fun has a dark forshadowing. I hope YaoJing always remember that their happiness is built on top of XL's sacrifices 😭😭

That's why he's dumb and useless, if he had taken revenge on his brother earlier, the brother's woman won't come out and scheme with grandma to trick Jing which in the end hurt XY the most

The director and screenwriter robbed us and YaoLiu of the 37 years in the clam, please read the section in the novel, it's much more emotional and heartfelt than what they shoot for the drama

Ikr, Jing doesn't deserve XY, too weak and useless compared to XL. There are theories that I've read that XY feeling to TSJ only starts from pity, TSJ is like a little pet that she saves and loyal to her but can be weak because he also want to be kind to everyone, but XL holds her deepest affection and protects her all the way. If only XL had confessed or if only he doesn't have his mission, XL would've been end game. So in short Jing is the end game because the author wanted too 😭

Out of the three ML, I feel that XL is the best one to watch but for new watchers be ready you'll cry all the time for XL, the author hobby is torturing his soul, he's so heartbroken, TJC acting is impeccable. XL is my best Xianxia character to date although he didn't get the girl or a good ending 😭 Snake love to destroy his own ship and push other people ship to sail by himself 😭
