Yep XL character is very interesting, although I'm team YaoJing I think XL has a more complex and silent lover type character, who's willing to love her even if she isn't going to end up with him, and we know what his ending is....

Why do I see many people criticizing TSJ as boring and hurting XY by hiding the truth instead. In fact Xuang Liu has always been audience favourite since the novel and has always been called XY's soulmate, you can't expect everyone to like the same thing, there's bound to be people who don't like his abusing tendencies although we know he will change and be protective/loving later on 🤣

ZX prioritizes power over love, and XY is willing to be used by ZX because of their sibling-like bond

At least imo Seventeen is the only one who never torture XY. He's a green flag lover 💚 . His flaw is his identity as TSJ. Deng Wei is doing better than his other dramas, he's made for the role.

Although he is often said the most 'boring' and least interesting...

Tu Shan Jing or Shi Qi maybe many people find boring and disadvantage for Deng Wei but I like him the most despite the simple character, so gentle and caring who wouldn't want as a partner

Btw its rare to see the ML become a favourite or CP favourite, most people like Xiang Liu, and some like TSJ
