Both are quite singular but W is on is own league, Pinnochio is a revenge drama and W is an action fantasy drama. I enjoyed both and until now I can't decide which one I prefer, W is fast-paced and talk about parallels universe, Pinnochio is more realistic and talks about how lives can be ruined by the media. The only similarities are the main lead, Lee Jong Suk and the suspense in both drama, only you can know who's the best based on your taste!

It's really worth it but be ready the ML is an another level of strong female lead she will perhaps make you mad.

It's not a great drama but the way they portay mental illness is really nice to see. Sadly this drama is one of the few to show it in a realistic way.

I understand what you said but in Confession, the ML isn’t stupid and the show hold the road all the 16 eps. I love Namgoong Min but I tried several times to watch the drama still I couldn’t. I love revenge drama but I hate when it’s over dramatic and the main lead can’t hold his emotions in order to have a succeed revenge.
