And it's so funny that Xiao Mai was the one to make nourishing soup for Yu Huai when it's usually the pushy mother in law 😉

Great type of aggressive mother in law. I love her so much, she wasn't afraid to call people out on their bullsh*t and she was so protective of Xiao Mai. She had a similar personality to Xiao Mai's sister who I also love. The three were great

I love that Xiao Mai can handle herself. It's so great when she puts people in their place like in ep 25

i love love love that everyone knows how fake Guan Rong is and Xiao Mai isn't fooled by her tricks.

I love the relationship between Xiao Mai and her sister, how she tells her her problems and her sister is ready to throw hands like in ep 7. Plus Yu Huai is like the greenest flag ever. I don't see how they're quarrelsome lovers like the synopsis says because they're both just sweet from the very beginning.
