I’m wanting to start this, the last Chinese drama I finished completely and loved was the long ballad and who rules the world, do you think this drama is similar to those two? the amazing story behind this was so unique, this show had me questioning everything and kept me wanting more! I loved the combination of mystery mixed with a tiny bit of romance! everyone had chemistry and I mean EVERYONE! so many plot twists and so many sad moments but I would do it again just to watch this drama for the first time ever again. I hope one day the main leads can play in another drama together because they were so beautiful together <3 I definitely recommend this to everyone bc it’s short but also interesting!!

I watched 1 ep of this show months ago and from what I did watch I really enjoyed it, but I want to know how much romance is in this, I don’t want this show just to focus on romance, I want action and everything else, I also took a liking to the second female character in here from the 1 ep I did watch.
is Esther character good? is she powerful and strong? i know she is a spy and stuff but I don’t want her to become weak for a boy if you get whay im saying.

she is loyal to her country because that is her home after all, and her family still lives there even if she don’t claim them as her family anymore! she also doesn’t want the innocent people to suffer from a war so she chooses to protect the king even if she hates him!

the female lead does tend to act on impulse and kinda lacks control, but you gotta keep in mind she did lose her entire family and she wants justice but she also wants to help other people too! to me she is a great character, she does have her flaws but overall she will prove herself.
the leads do have a healthy relationship probably the healthiest iv seen in a drama! they both want to over come war and don’t want innocent people to get hurt, this drama doesn’t really focus on romance but towards the ending you get a decent amount of it!
