And killing of kids inside death camp is not low. I just don’t get it clearly jingshi is the most evil character in cdrama I ever watched but still people somehow like him.
- He killed innocent kids inside death camp.
- He betrayed and tried to kill the girl he liked.
- He humiliated his wife, slapped her hurt her.
- He manipulated the innocent kids from death camp to fight for him.
- He tried to sacrifice the whole city of 300,000 people just to kill ML.
But people still like him?

Sorry if I came out as rude. I was just sharing my opinion. I am also watching and enjoying both the dramas and I like to watch angsty dramas sometime. It doesn’t mean the drama is bad it just means genres are different, story is different and characters are different. Both the dramas are good.

Did she really came 3rd in china’s toughest exam “GaoKao”. Is she some sort of genius or what? She must have a high IQ or she applied for GaoKao from some backward province?

I think they should implement the system to rate the dramas after it finished airing and people should only be allowed to rate the episodes that already aired. If u see there are approx 9k watchers for this drama but only 300 something people rated the drama. And I don’t know how they rated the drama when it’s still airing but even then it’s a very small amount of people

It already released 10 episodes. If I am not feeling the drama then I believe it’s not for me. No need to be so personal about this. And yes I believe dramas much better than this has worst rating ex Ms Incognito is much better than this crap but has similar rating.

Anyway it’s my personal opinion I felt like commenting so I posted. No need to think any more about this. If u are enjoying the drama then it’s great.

It will definitely have more angst because the FL here is quite immature, she doesn’t understand that u can’t play with people’s trust it’s very hard to gain that trust back again and she is playing with ML trust here. Her whole persona is built on lie since she was child. She herself doesn’t understand what she really wants.

Later when she will grow up I am pretty sure she will break ML completely . Whereas in fated hearts both the characters FL and ML are very mature so even though so many people betrayed them they found safe heaven in themselves. So love shown in fated hearts is more sincere and more pure.

U can see if the show is popular or not by checking how many people are watching. For people watching less than 10k in Mel the rating is pretty high. If the no of people increases rating will also increase. For Korean show having less then 30k watchers shows the show is not popular at all internationally. And people are getting bored from the Korean shows because they produce so much in a year. It’s like constantly producing garbage. They need to bring down the no of dramas they produce every year and increase the quality of writing.

Also can they for once move out of their usual template man it’s like they don’t have any creativity left. Learn somethings from Hollywood.

How is this show rated this high, it should be not more than 7.5. What a waste of time, the show has no goal, no impact and not even funny. At the very least for initial couple of episodes. Later it might become good but I am dropping it it’s making me sleepy even in afternoon.

There are some pretty good cdramas airing currently like fated hearts etc.

If u want hot kisses just watch 50 shades of grey or something similar and u are saying I need to chill but in the paragraph I written above I never said anything about u, I was only talking about the story sorry if your feelings are hurt somehow but I haven’t written anything about u so I don’t know how u got so hurt.

Also don’t assume people’s gender does males, people from LGBTQIA’s community don’t watch these dramas only females do?

If u are interested in somebody’s story that means u like them or u connected with them somehow. Why are u blaming me for misunderstanding it. How can u be interested in things u don’t like or connect to?

If the episodes are good then how the rating is so bad. I haven't watched yet but either u are lying or somebody sabotaging this show. It's probably u have bad taste or maybe the others have bad taste. But it feels really bad to even waste time for show rated so low.

U people are really bad how can u connect with a person who killed so many kids. Took away the life of so many innocent children's, put them through living hell. The biggest crime in humanity is crime against children. Nothing is more despicable then harming young and innocent kids.

U can redeem yourself from any crimes if u do enough good things but u can't redeem yourself if u harmed an innocent child or the women's dignity. U just can't cross that boundary.

@onmyway123 How can u redeem xia jingshi when he committed crime against so many children’s. Because of him so many poor kids loss their lives. Crime against children is the biggest crime. There are some lines u never cross, after u cross that line even dying is luxury. He should be brutally killed.

This is why u shouldn’t deviate the character from the novel too much. In the novel there was no death camp he didn’t commit any crime against kids he was bad there also but redeemable so in the novel he was redeemed and became king of the opposite kingdom. But in the drama he is irredeemable he had to die.

Bro every person has sad stories in this world. Life is a struggle. If u are living it means u are struggling someway or other, it doesn’t mean u can do bad things to other to ease that struggle. Just imagine if everybody becomes evil because of some sad things in the lives there will be no one left to live in this earth. This is why u have to be hard towards criminal if not they will do the same things again. Don’t sympathise with evil.

U can take a real world example- police is capturing the culprits. Judges are not punishing them according to law because of some fucked up ideology culprit gets out does the crime again, this time he ups the crime because he know he won’t face the consequence

I don’t blame empress being love with emperor. How many man can match emperor in terms of look, power, wealth etc. I don’t think there were many. Also I don’t think emperor hate the empress or is abusive towards her it’s just that he wasn’t able to forget his first wife fully and have some regrets regarding that. Plus empress is not at all morally good character she is an evil character.

I thought all the award this year will be going to “when lives give u tangerine”. Is that drama not included in this award show

Then how will villain be written. The way u described should be written for villain who should be equal to ML in every category only difference being he is evil. SML by definition can’t be written great or else why would FL choose ML. And if she choose SML then SML is the ML
