I said this earlier but it seemed to be ignored 🥲 Xin Zhi Lei was chosen because the director admired her acting in Brotherhood of Blades 2. He thought she would be perfect for the role and clearly he made a good choice because the show is getting quite successful and people love her character. Xin Zhi Lei is even getting on the hot search on Weibo multiple times for her role.

what does recently joining have anything to do with this? And have you ever considered that maybe Xin Zhi Lei was hired because she's a good actress or that she seems perfect for the role????? If they were to pass on an actress that seems fit for the role just because they can't dance wouldn't that be a pity?? That would be like giving up on Daniel Radcliffe for Harry Potter just because he doesn't have green eyes. fr tho like what is the point of making a comment publicly and not wanting people to respond. disliking a film before even watching it is crazy. they also complained about how Xin Zhi Lei had to learn how to dance for 2 years but there is literally nothing wrong with that, in fact I personally think it's quite admirable that someone would put that much effort for a role.
