I mainly watch dramas for the female leads and prefer strong FL characters so I’m not sure if I will enjoyed a lot of MLs haha

ohh I see, I loved my dearest so much too. Probably it was just me that was starving for a funny, over the top drama and I somehow really enjoyed baym. I mainly watch kdramas for both modern and historical, but I have seen around 20 modern cdramas and they all lowkey disappointed me, you can recommend me historical cdramas if you want !

You’re right about having lower expectations, people are only disappointed because many hyped it up so much. And yes I have watched over 150 kdramas including mr.queen :)

not really, lee chaemin was a nugu before this drama. Plus, it was really popular internationally and in korea, almost everyone was talking about it. It even got older audiences into watching kdramas, including my mom and aunt. Regular kdrama watchers might find it “mid” but it was really a huge success for a reason.

I honestly dont get the hate bc it was actually not that bad 😭 It was very enjoyable throughout the whole show for me and it also brought many people into kdramas, even older audiences.

I’m glad you stayed until the end ! Ik people have different tastes but the majority have enjoyed the show with no problems, thats why the bad reviews were kinda pissing me off bc its so forced TT

i watched for everything, the plot, cast, food and they all were good? it didnt lack in anyway thats why its popular

people will still complain despite any ending they give so they tried to give us the best ending they could and i enjoyed that 🤷🏻‍♀️

people can still give a 10 if they enjoyed the whole show with no complains. Giving a 1 is absurd and “to balance” is even worse.
