i can’t believe this has such a low rating all of a sudden. when it aired and everyone finished it it was in the 8’s. honestly if u like wuxias ignore the low rating and watch it. definitely in my top 3 favorite wuxias. the scenery/cinematography/ost are all really beautiful as well. the fight scenes are fucking cool too! i really only watch wuxias bc i like fight scenes and girls with swords. and this one has really good of both lmao

honestly they don’t rly really have a stronger teacher/student vibe. hes her shifu but she only called him shifu sometimes. really he was a senior at her school and he taught her tai chi. if u are only watching it for the teacher/student vibe i’d say it’s not worth it. since they are really both students and he’s just teachings her martial arts after classes
wasn’t terrrible i’d even say i kinda liked it but i did watch it at double speed majority of the time and only went back to normal speed for the fight scenes. i also skipped like majority of the scenes when xiao xiao had a crush on that boy and was hanging around him. thought it was a little with embarrassing. honestly when thee main couple got together i thought it was a little embarrassing too. rly only watched this for sun qian and the fight scenes. it’s really unintentionally funny bc a lot of the dialogue sounds like they are in an ancient chinese wuxia but bc it’s a modern show it comes off as incredibly overdramatic ajsjsjshdjd
