in korean version, everyone got their happy ending. Since this is an adaptation i think here they all will have…
tbh i was hoping for more screentime between the second couple ( the FL's first love and the ML's sister) in the korean version and here l´hope they show us more in the last episodes
they planned it but song joong ki didnt support the decision - they wanted to cast another ML but didnt work out…
Yes! But S2 would have lost its spark if it weren't the same actors so i guess its a good thing we didnt get a season 2 altho i cant wait how reborn rich s2 will turn out without song joong ki
Love this thorough review! Honestly, I do agree the comedy scenes just came out of nowhere and seeing vincenzo lose his cool and demeanor was not something i was expecting from a mafia consigliere. But it literally became my comfort drama and now i watch it eveeryday ( also because i love how he speaks Italian <3 reminds of that one korean couple that lives here in my town in italy who i rarely see but when i do, their italian is so cuteeeeeee
I mainly started watching for ZeeNunew but honestly I am more invested the other characters than the main. I had so much hope for this and the disappointment hit hard Wanted NetJJ to have more scenes :( too many holes in the plotline and the filler episodes aint gonna save it sigh
hi...is this drama somehow like vincenzo? i really liked vincenzo...so if it's giving that vive, i'm definitely…
Vincenzo is slick, stylish, mafia-drama with a dark comedic twist — the kind of show you watch for the charisma and plot chess. Lawless Lawyer is gritty, emotional, street-smart revenge justice — the kind of show you watch to get fired up, punch the air, and root for the underdog.
Key Similarities Between Vincenzo and Lawless Lawyer 1. Anti-Hero Lawyers Who Don’t Play by the Rules Both Vincenzo Cassano and Bong Sang-pil are lawyers. They use every trick in the book and some outside it—whether it’s mafia tactics or street brawls—to serve justice their own way.
They blur lines between law and violence.
They break the system to fix the system.
They operate with a personal code, not corporate ethics.
2. Fighting Against Corrupt, Powerful Opponents Both shows revolve around tearing down massive corrupt entities:
Vincenzo battles the monstrous Babel Group — a mega-corporation exploiting people and destroying lives.
Lawless Lawyer targets corrupt judges, politicians, and officials who’ve rigged the justice system for personal gain.
3. Personal Trauma Fuels Their Fight they’re deeply personal missions:
Vincenzo has a mafia past, family losses, and a hidden identity struggle.
Bong Sang-pil’s fight is driven by the pain of losing his mother and the trauma inflicted by corrupt legal powers.
4. Strong, Complex Female Leads Both dramas feature badass women who are fighters in their own right:
Vincenzo has Hong Cha-young, a sharp, fearless lawyer with no patience for BS.
Lawless Lawyer has Ha Jae-yi, a fiery, justice-driven lawyer who’s not afraid to throw down.
5. Justice Served with revenge The heroes don’t just want justice—they want to burn down the rotten roots that caused their pain. Revenge isn’t just a subplot; it’s a driving force. But it’s also about redemption and healing.
6. A Mix of Action, Legal Drama, and Dark Humor Neither show is a pure courtroom snooze-fest. They’re packed with:
l´hope they show us more in the last episodes
