I have a different opinion on her, i don't like boon hok, i am ok if she get her happy ending but not if she make…
Totally agree with you.
I don't like using life's hardship as a justification to unethical actions and intentionally hurting others.
Young Ro didn't have an easy life as well, from loosing her mother when she was young to having a father that can't see beyond his political career and how to advance it to loosing her brother. She also works to pay for her college tuition. After all that she didn't resort to stealing and being jealous of her roommates whom two of them seem to be from well off families.
Now, facing such a horrible situation as a hostage by the man that she loves and a father that doesn't mind killing everyone to win an election, Young Ro remains a decent and compassionate human being noting that the character is a 20 year old girl in the 80s.
226K Haesoo tweets now. Kim Jisoo and Jung Hae In are amazing. With barley any romantic scenes they were able to get the fans really hooked on their story as Young Ro and So Hoo and even root for real life relationship. If anything its a testament of their excellent acting skills.
Kim Jisoo made me forget that she is a singer and dancer by profession. How is she this good in her first lead role??? Her tone of voice, the way she walks and her entire demeanor is now different than the first 3-4 episodes. Her eyes are so expressive, she doesn't need to say anything and I feel what she is trying to convey or feel. She has what I would call raw talent, a little bit of fine tuning here and there and she would be as if she's been acting for years. Well done Kim Jisoo, well done.
“Youngro faces and shows various emotions from episode 1 to episode 16, which is the hardest thing for me. Because I always keep my feelings to myself when I’m going through difficult times. While Youngro wasn’t afraid to show it off". Kim Jisoo
Isn't this drama overhyped. While i don't care about criticisms and this drama is good regardless, shouldn't this…
Its really subjective and is based on personal preferences. I've been a kdrama fan for years now and never did I watch 1.30 hours per episode drama that flew by as quickly as Snowdrop. This is a 10/10 for me. I dropped cha cha cha after episode 6.
I might have a movie that is ranked in my top 10 and it could be in the top worst for another. Neither of us is wrong really.
but the government agents were portrayed as somewhat reasonable, when they got a warrant to search the dorm, and…
I totally agree with you. It would be a weakness in the story telling if they try to portray all the agents as evil. It would actually be a bit comical.
I'm a Kdrama fan and to form an opinion about a drama on what I like and what I don't like, I have to watch it till the end. Judging a drama with only two episodes in is too harsh. There are so many people who spent months working on it.
I'm an international fan, so I can't talk about history distortion. What I can talk about is how I perceived the narrative after the first two episodes and the knowledge that the blue house was sent the script by JTBC and approved it.
For me it is clear that the villains of the story are the politicians and the government agents.
One of the female leads is a student protestor and I believe that through her eyes we will see the struggles and sacrifices that were made for democracy.
It seems that all the promos and previews were from the first three episodes only, this tells me that there is a lot of plot that we are yet to see and I'm really looking forward to it.
The story is familiar and done so many times with different variations.
However, the execution here is topnotch. Acting, direction, camera work, fight choreography, soundtrack were all really well done that I was totally immersed in the story and finished it in one day.
Han So Hee really impressed me with not only the dramatic parts in the series (especially episode 6) but with her execution of the action scenes, it was one of the best I've seen in years by a female lead. I want to see her do more of these types of roles.
Park Hee Soon made want the bad guy to win just to see him again if there is ever a season 2. I really hope there is.
Ahn Bo Hyun, what can I say. I wasn't interested in watching Yumi's cells. I will now.
This is a good drama, but the highlight for me was the acting. Cho Seung Woo and Park Shin Hye did a fantastic job (PSY made the hand to hand combat look very believable, I wanted to see more). The two have great chemistry and I wish to see them do another project together. Lastly, their behind the scenes are so funny. I never watched each and every BTS like I did for this drama.
